Amazing and Exciting Film
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This film portrays Al Pacino at his best. The film is exciting with surprises one after another, keeping the audience utterly entertained without requiring huge action scenes. Definetly a must-watch

NO DIGITAL COPY!
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I will enjoy the 1 quality BLU-RAY movie, and the 1 DVD of extras, but there is NO DIGITAL COPY as advertised. That's 50% of the reason why I purchased. Please change description, been advertised like this for over a year.

Every dog has his day
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Dog Day Afternoon is a 1975 American crime drama film directed by Sidney Lumet, written by Frank Pierson and produced by Martin Bregman and Martin Elfand. The film stars Al Pacino, John Cazale, Charles Durning, Chris Sarandon, Penelope Allen, James Broderick, Lance Henriksen and Carol Kane. The title refers to the sultry "dog days" of summer. Based on a true story about a man and partner who robs a bank to pay for his lover's operation. Minutes after, it turns into a hostage situation and a media circus.

Great Movie, Decent Issue
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The movie is a classic and has great video and audio specs. The new special feature is a tribute to John Cazale. The tribute is fine but is just that. A tribute. An in depth documentary would have been better. Still a worthwhile addition for fans who didn't buy the original release.

Pacino & Lumet
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Saw this in the theater seems like ages ago. So I won't spoil the ending. But will say bank robbery gone wrong. John Cazale wasn't in many movies, but he sure knew how to pick em. Plus a bonus DVD of John Cazale about 40 minutes long.

one of my favorite movies
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.great movie but the main reason I bought it was for the John Cazale extra which I had seen before. dog day is one of the great 1970 movie but I had not realized it was more than a heist movie. not sure they can make those now...
