Finally, the Dragon Ball Z episodes are complete, uncut, and unedited in original 4:3 aspect ratio in HD on Blu-ray. Same episodes as on the Dragon Ball Z: Dragon Box DVD set, only re-mastered in 1080P and clearer on my HDTV. The only thing I didn't like about the Dragon Box sets were they didn't look clear when I watched them on my 47" 1080P LED HDTV. They looked too distorted and blocky, but the Dragon Ball Z Level Blu-ray discs solve that! Dragon Ball Z Level 1.1 Contains episodes 1-17 on two Blu-ray discs. The plan is for all 291 episodes to be released on Blu-ray, probably the complete series released by this time next year. Each episode is in English, with the credits in English. Audio Tracks include: Dolby TrueHD: English Dialogue with Japanese Music 5.1; Dolby TrueHD US English Broadcast Version 2.0, or Original Japanese Mono. Blu-ray also includes Marathon Feature which plays every episode on the Blu-ray Disc back to back without the opening and closing credits in between. Upon watching both Blu-ray and DVD at the same time, the DVD load time and run-time is a little faster that the Blu-Ray, but the Blu-ray shows more of the picture on the sides than the DVD. The colors are more vivid on the Blu-ray, especially the background and the sky, along with being more natural and even than on the DVD. The only drawback is the Blu-ray discs are going to be released on a monthly basis and it doesn't have colorful artwork like the books in the Dragon Box sets. I like this set better than the Orange Box, sets which are the edited and cut Cartoon Network "old school" episodes and a lot better than the re-edited and re-dubbed Dragon Ball Z: Kai set, too.
