It's sad in this day and age that anyone is still putting out cropped 4:3 versions of movies. I bought this only because it was recommended to me by a friend and I was really curious to see it. Only get this if you're really interested in the movie. There is a widescreen director's cut out there, but it's out of print and goes for $30 - 70. This DVD is the cut down theatrical version, and the transfer is nothing to write home about. It looks not much better than a VHS.

this was an interesting movie from beginning to end. it kept my attention. it touches on witchcraft, supernatural beings and little horror. it is well worth watching multiple times.
