I tried several name brand shelf speakers on display at Best Buy. I was either satisfy with the sound nor the price. Dynex, I have never heard of the brand. I decided to give it a try since it is only a fraction of the price of a name brand. I am glad that I did. These speakers are easy to set up and the control are simple to use. At high volume, these speakers can fill the room with a rich sound with no distortion. You don't need to pay brand name prices to get a good product.

I rate this as a great system because of the sound quality... The sub-woofer is great as well...

Sound and quality is fairly good. Lots of bass. Bought for a teen who has not complained once about it. He seems very satisfied. A little bigger than I was hoping, especially since it has a subwoofer as well as 2 speakers, but to a teenager, the bigger the better.
