The cable has worked great for over a year

Great product and price

You can use this HDMI cable to connect laptops to TVs, projectors, and monitors. It can be used for DVD players, Blueray, AppleTV, Nexus player to TV. No issues with the product. It feels like a good quality cable. This is the 2nd cable I buy. Great for the price paid.

- A:Answer Yes you are correct and I do the same thing myself. If volume is still coming from your computer, go to your volume preferences and choose "External Speakers" which should also show some ID of the TV you are connected to.
