QuestionMay I disconnect the USB wire from the drive?Can I unplug the wire to facilitate transportation? The last thing I would want is for the breakage of a permanent-type wire; quick wear-and-tear due to movement and friction inside a bag.

QuestionHow long is the wire of the USB plug?Do I have the option of plugging it in behind my desktop PC's tower, which is sitting rather far away on the floor to the left of the monitor, bringing it behind the monitor, so I can comfortably use it on the right side?
