Dyson - Clearance Air Multiplier Tower Fan

This is my first product from Dyson ever and let me tell you its absolutely amazing. From the easy assembly to the silent fans this product has been able to serve as the main cooling unit, and as an art piece for my room. I am a computer student and I run up to five computers in my small room at any given time. I have noticed a whopping 10 degree temperature decrease in my room because of this fan, and its amazing ability to push the air throughout the room (while looking snazzy). Side Notes Worth Mentioning: - Air Multiplication Technology does an amazing job of creating huge amounts of air. If you are looking for a windstorm in your room, its not out of the question. - I had to buy three $70 fans before finding one I liked. If you are to skip right to a Dyson fan you will save yourself from buying a lower quality fan. - No Blades!! How can you not love this feature? The fan is absolutely stylin'. - Magnetized remote control that is comes with is handy, and works great from distance with the unit. - The blue color of this fan is extremely bright and vibrant - The fan can push out an incredible power if needed, although you will find that even at low speeds it gets the job done. - So quiet! I sleep with it on every night, and it runs 24-7 keeping my room chilled comfortably.

Anyone telling you they bought this fan for it's functionality, is blowing smoke up your rear. That being said, this is the coolest fan you can buy, and an awesome display of innovation to an everyday household item. It has a very sleek design and at it's highest setting can really move some air in a room. Unfortunately at it's highest setting it's also put's out a good amount of noise. About the same amount of noise as my old blade fan (maybe a little more) for the same amount of airflow. I'm not sure about people who say it's noiseless, it's anything but. It is however, very quiet at the lowest setting and supplies a very light steady breeze, which is comfortable if your room is already semi-cool and you are close to it. The remote is a nice feature and magnetically attaches to the top of the fan. It needs the ability to pivot and aim the airflow up or down, like the table-top models do. Despite the noise, you buy this fan because you have extra cash burning a hole in your pocket, and you don't mind spending more for design and innovation. Like all Dyson products you pay a premium for this, but this one is worth it. It looks good in any room, has a small footprint, and gives your guests something to talk about.

I really like this fan. Got it on clearance price from Best Buy.com. This fan is very easy to put together. The only mistake I made I didn't took the plastic off the bottom round part due to which my fan will not turn. Finally the common sense prevailed and I end up watching a you tube video of the fan box opening which was really helpful in the end. I love the way fan operates, love how the remote control sticks to the top of the fan with built in magnet and I have to say it is worth the money and Thanks to the best Buy that they offered the fan at clearance price on their site.

Got this fan to quiet down other fans used in the living room area. Only use it now, resonably quiet. I am a diabetic and low blood sugar attacks make me sweat alot or just plain using the oven and stove in the kitchen during our humid summers. Using this fan gets my body temp down quick. Love it for that!

Innovative design means no fan blades to constantly get dusty. Is more quiet than a traditional fan, but isn't quite as quiet as expected. However, any movement of air creates some noise, so a completely quiet operation would be improbable. Overall, it is a nice change from regular fans.

I just thought this 'bladeless' fan was the coolest design ever but felt the price $499 wasn't justified. I finally saw it on sale and decided to buy. So far it seems great and does cool and help the A/C very nicely. Love how compact it is too... oscillating close to a wall... out of the way. It is a tad bit loud when it's on high fan mode... would be my only complain. Not bad... just a little bit loud.

I've wanted a Dyson fan for years (big fan of the vacuums) and I finally got one for Christmas! It works very well, moving a ton of air! It can be a bit noisy at high speeds but is whisper quite on low and not bad on medium settings. I use it when I sleep and the sound is actually like a "white noise" sound and not the buffeting sound you get with a normal bladed fan. Very happy with this product!

We run this fan 24/7 in our bedroom loft. It is super stylish, oscillates, and is amazingly quiet even on either speed. I am even thinking of buying another one for another room!
