Outstanding
Posted .I would recommend this to a friendWe almost bought a smaller one because of the price but we're glad we didn't. This machine is simply fabulous. It is so quiet that you can barely hear it running, even at high spin. When we washed our first load of white "T" shirts they were obviously whiter than the ones in the drawer done by the old top loader. We were surprised how little water that it used. Even the fast wash cycle (18 minutes) gets clothes clean. As a precaution, we leave the door open after we're through for the day until the seal dries and have not had any problems with any type of smells. We've stuffed it full of blankets and it didn't have any problem washing them. We also like the hand washing cycle for the delicate items, and the "steam" wash for the rare occassions that it is needed. It has no problems adjusting from huge loads to small ones. We're glad we purchased the stand because it put the washer at the right height for us to use. We're still using our old dryer but "all of a sudden" it is working better -- all because the high spin cycle of the washer extracts so much more water out of the clothes than the old top loader that the dryer doesn't have to work as hard. It also gives us a surface beside the washer to work on and store the detergents, bleach, and fabric softner. I almost tried to install it myself but I'm glad we got Best Buy to do it for us. It only took them about an hour because they had the tools and carrier to use to hook the washer to the stand. This thing is heavy and I couldn't have done it by myself. We gave the old one to a needy family and the Best Buy men were even nice enough to load it on my pickup truck.

Don't hesitate on price and buy it!
Posted .I would recommend this to a friendThis washer is so extremely quiet it's hard to believe, clothes come out super clean, just play with settings and you will get extremely great washing results. first i bought this washer and used my very old dryer... the spin cycle is so great in this washer the clothes come out almost dry, all synthetic fabrics come out barely damp, few minutes of drying and it's ready to wear. of course i ended up buying matching dryer for two reasons - this washer is the hottest thing i had in my apartment, it just looks so hot i come home and give it a hug! LOL second reason for the dryer - i really don't like ironing and the clothes that come out from steam dryer look like they just were freshly ironed. i also bought matching pedestals - there are plenty storage in them and they rase both machines higher so you don't even have to bend - pure luxury, the Benz of all washers. LOVE IT. In my situation i got few energy efficiency rebates from city/state and the manufacturer so price after all wasn't that different from other washers.

Quality has a price tag
Posted .I would recommend this to a friendVery very very expensive, but I love it. My wife wanted it and the dryer so i had to buy it. If you buy it though you know you got to get the dryer too. But I knew it was a large capacity but, man it is huge the capacity. I have 2 kids and a wife and between all of our laundry, we only do one load a week. It is a huge load but it fits it all. I can wash 4 king sheets and 5 towels all in one load! It is super Quiet and the dyer is awesome too. Very sleek looking and cleans very well.
