The material on Elfen Lied, Vol. One: Vector One has been given a letterboxed transfer to disc in the widescreen aspect ratio of 1.78:1; the images have also been enhanced for anamorphic playback on 16 x 9 monitors. Viewers may choose between the original Japanese-language audio and a dubbed version in English, both of which have been mastered in Dolby Digital 5.1. Optional English subtitles are also included. Bonus materials include character sketches, production artwork, optional text-free opening and closing sequences, and trailers for other anime titles from ADV. This edition is packaged in a special limited edition box, with different artwork and extra space for other DVDs in the Elfen Lied series.
