I purchased this pressure cooker for myself after much debate. I was very pleased with the size, features, and functions. However, after my second meal made in the cooker the interior non-stick surface bubbled and peeled away from the cooking pot. This exposed raw aluminum. Unacceptable. I called the manufacturer since this was still under warranty, (4 days!) and they told me that they don't cover the pot but that I could purchase a new one at $40+s&h. My other option was to return the item to Best Buy. When I called Best Buy, it turns out they don't carry this particular model any more and would only refund me. I spent a lot of time picking just the right one for my purposes and spent all the money I could afford on the product. Now, my only recourse was to buy a new interior pot or refund my money and buy the same cooker but now 'colorful' for $50 more? Nice appliance but lousy warranty. I am annoyed but will have to buy a new interior pot and trust me, it won't have a non-stick interior!

This pressure cooker is large and it does a great job. Cooks fast. My only complaint is, some times the food sticks to the bottom. I use a veggie steamer to keep the food off the bottom. Works like a charm.

This is not your mother's pressure cooker! This one easy to use, super easy to clean, and does a fantastic job cooking meals. Our first meal in this was a stew that cooked in 90 minutes and tasted like it slow cooked on the stove all day. Our next attempt was BBQ beef that just fell off the bone after about 2 hours for a nine pound roast. My husband wanted this item, and at first, I didn't because I thought pressure cookers were fairly scary. But I'm so glad I let him talk me into it! Great meals on a weeknight, after working all day, that cook easy and fast and taste like you slaved all day.
