This is my all time favorite TV Series. When I was a kid I would stop everything I was doing to watch tis show. (I was like only 5 or 6 when I first started to watch in the mid 70's) The sound really, really needs to be remastered. I find myself cranking up the volume while watching the DVDs then when the squad and or the engine fire up their sirens I need to drop the volume, or even sometimes when the scene changes. I cannot believe Universal Studios is not remastering thses before release. But I am happy they are releasing them at all/ The video work is what you expect with 1970's technology. If you are an Emergency fan or want to buy this for an Emergency fan BUY IT. All the negative stuff I say here is easily overlooked to be able to watch EMERGENCY!

Love the old time shows. It doesn't have all the newer technology to make things seem unrealistic.
