I loved watching this show growing up. The people in it are normal people. It is not flashy with drama or effects. It's like you are a part of a day in the life of this new program. It had a lasting effect on a number of people of that time period influencing them to go into that field. My kids think I'm goofy when I get all excited at seeing a current paramedic squad in town that has a 51 on it's side!

This show is where it all began. The 1970's is the birthplace of many future shows that are on tv today. I've been a fan of this show ever since it began and still find myself watching it all the time.
