    Synopsis

    Enough Said
A divorced masseuse falls into a romance with a kindhearted empty nester, but starts to question their relationship based on the bitter ramblings of an unhappy client in this dramedy from writer/director Nicole Holofcener (Lovely & Amazing, Please Give). Eva (Julia Louis-Dreyfus) is the single mother of a teenage daughter who will soon be heading off to college. A successful masseuse, she rues the thought of an empty home when she crosses paths with the self-described slob Albert (James Gandolfini), a kind man in a similar situation. The blossoming relationship between Eva and Albert is starting to show real promise, too, until Eva's newest client Marianne (Catherine Keener), a successful poet, begins complaining about her ex-husband so intensely that her pessimism begins to rub off on the once-optimistic masseuse. ~ Jason Buchanan, Rovi

I was afraid I'd be sad watching "Enough Said" after the death of James Gandolfini. But I wasn't, it was bittersweet. The cast is wonderful & the writing is great. It's a wonderful romantic comedy, the kind we don't see much anymore. If all you know Mr. Gandolfini from is "The Sopranos" this is a wonderful chance to see his range of acting skills. Being a long time fan all I can think of is what else would he have achieved. "Enough Said" is a fun romantic film that's not a chick flick that's perfect for a night when you want to watch something that's really good, but not too heavy.

There is a time in every man's life when he must bow down to his woman's call to watch a romantic flick with her. "Enough Said" had: 1) a tired plot with obvious twists, and 2) wonderful actors that looked as though they were anxiously awaiting re-writes for the script as they uttered each line. I felt sad for my woman, she usually watches every moment from opening to end credits -- but she literally went to the bluray player and took the disc out after one hour, and broke it in two! The best part of this experience? I now have an empty bluray case if ever I need one.

A beautiful, funny, heartfelt, offbeat romantic comedy featuring a wonderful Julia Louis-Dreyfuss and a laugh and tear-filled and unfortunately - final performance by James Gandolfini (of "the Sopranos") as a sweet teddy bear of a guy looking for love after a failed marriage. he and Louis-dreyfuss may not seem as if they fit together on paper - but trust me - they go together like a hand in a tailored glove. James goes out on top in this heartfelt romance. Made my personal Top 10 for last year. A bittersweet goodbye to a tremendous actor. Don't miss it.

James Gandolfini and Catherine Keener shine in this heartwarming subtle small drama/comedy about relationships of divorced family members and new partners. Julia Louis-Dreyfus adds tension and awkwardness through her character as she drinks from the poison well of complaints from her new friend (Keener) about her ex-husband (Gandolfini) who turns out to be Dreyfus's new boyfriend. Blu-ray disc, packaging, picture and sound quality good. Presented in 185:1 aspect ratio.

This film serves as a reminder of how truly versitle of an actor, James Gandolfini (The Sopranos) was. In what is one of his least characteristic roles, he takes us on a journey of personal discovery and shows us how moments of true love are precious and few. Julia Louis-Dreyfus (Seinfeld) was nominated for a Golden Globe, however Gandofini should have also been nominated for handling his role with great intensity and sensibility.

we love a good funny and romatic movie. Both Dreyfus and Gandolfini are great together and yet seem so unlikely as a couple in the beginning. I feel so sorry for her when she discovers that her new friend is his ex wife. What to do? She's not sure and waits to long to tell him. But in the end they were ment for each other and got past the problems. Great Movie.

I was surprised at how much I enjoyed "Enough Said", it was actually kind of refreshing to watch a romantic comedy that didn't constantly induce eye-rolling. Also, a great and very natural performance from an against-type James Gandolfini. If only he had gotten to play more roles like this. May he rest in peace.

My wife and I were pleasantly surprised by this movie! It is a great and relatable story about dating and relationships. The acting was superb; everyone did a great job. Julia Louis-Dreyfus was a standout, but so was the late James Gandolfini. This was an example as to why he will be missed.
