Matt LeBlanc returns to the most difficult role of his life---playing Matt LeBlanc---in Season 3 of this TV-industry satire. Matt may be a popular fixture in Hollywood, but his personal and professional lives are in shambles. He desperately tries to gain custody of his children, but his efforts are seriously thwarted when he gets a DUI while driving with the kids in the car. Also, his ex-wife refuses to forgive him for sleeping with his stalker. On the set of "Pucks!" things aren't any better. Matt tries to convince the show's creators Beverly and Sean Lincoln (Tamsin Greig, Stephen Mangan), who are going through an emotionally draining marital crisis, to kill his character on the series so he can pursue a dream role on a new drama at NBC. But when they learn that the pilot was written by their former assistant Andrew (Oliver Kieran-Jones), whom they despise, they tell Matt there's no way he is leaving the show and must honor his contract. But with "Pucks!" ratings continuing to plunge, Matt may not be employed much longer.
