Not for everyday convenience
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The GTW 270 hybrid fits really comfortably in the ear! Sound quality is great! They support AptX LL. They have great passive sound isolation! Unfortunately, the GTW 270 hybrid come with quirks. For example these run off of a Master/slave system which means that the left earbud will not operate without the right. The problem with this is that answering phone calls, switching tracks, etc. can only be done using the left earbud. To be clear there is no button for doing this on the right which means that both earbuds will have to be worn at all times for these to be remotely convenient. The problem with this is that the passive noise isolation will muffle out low level noises like conversations etc. and there is no feature that amplifies environmental noises. That said, currently there is no app for IOS, Android, or consoles for adjusting EQ settings or seeing the charging status of the earbuds. The only app available is on PC and that is just for adjusting EQ settings. Also, be warned that u cannot game and use the dangle which enables AptX LL and mic at the same time. Not a problem if u have an external PC mic but if u are someone gaming on consoles that will pose a big problem. These earbuds sound excellent when sitting back and playing games or watching movies etc. when u actually want to block out outside noises but for the average person who is looking at buying these for that everyday convenience but also want something that excels in gaming and watching movies which is the majority I feel will be disappointed. For me it’s a love hate thing. Way more cons then pros, I’m giving them 2 stars

Solid quality
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.EPOS GTW 270 the gaming earbud have been doing the job and working with any device i have used it with. From the packaging to the build quality is great. i love the charging case as it really sturdy and feel solid. The ear bud are well build as well and fit nicely in the ears and comes with different ear tips to fit any size ear. One thing i found which i feel it can be little be better is the sound is on little low end and are not loud enough on the full voice. besides the volume it is great product, comfortable while using and does not cause the strain on the ears, comes with dongle that can be use to connect to the gaming devices so the pairing is easy. Overall, it is a god earbud for gaming but if the volume was little louder than this could be a five star product.

Gaming Headset in Portable Package UPDATE IT!
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So a couple of things off the bat. 1. The latest Firmware Update allows you to use the microphone with the dongle, allowing full gaming headset functionality. 2. The Mic quality is the EXACT same as the New AW920H Headset, Aliewnares flagship Headset. Quite impressive for a freaking set of earbuds and no direct boom arm. 3. Side Tone is REQUIRED when talking if you have it properly fitted, because the sound leakage is almost zero. Seriously. Momentum 3 Headphones with ANC on are not as quiet as these are. Also, the software on PC lets you adjust that as well. 4. Side tone comes on automatically when mic is on. So just switching to external mic turns it off. Only downside is you can't completely control this with the button (It should be an option with PS5). Mic Quality: It's acceptable. It is clear and understandable to the other people. However, low bandwidth is ovbvious when on discord. It's not worse than most full sized gaming headsets lol. Audio quality: So the sound is very specific. I can't quite put this into words well but I will try. First impression was good, but going from Momentum 3 Heaphones to Earbuds is a huge change. Audio sounds like it is inside your head. However, once you get the fitting right. The accuracy of audio is insane. And the stereo imaging is way better than the Momentum 3's and Alienware's Headset. The drivers are very, very accurate, and the low bass is clearly heard, though doesn't rumble like the Momentum 3's. At first it was weird but once I adjusted, it is top notch. I can hear everything, and the directional sound really feels great. I can't state this enough. I love these things! The sound impresses me to no end. It uses efficiency to get the clarity and effects instead of brute force. If that makes any sense. They will SEEM Quieter, but do not need to be loud to be heard clearly. It's odd. But a welcome change. Conclusion: In summary. UPDATE the firmware before you judge. Bottom Line. You may need to restart the pc with the earbuds on a few times to jar the EPOS software to recognize the update. But it is there. It improved a ton. Audio is alot cleaner after the update as well. Both the Dongle and earbuds need the update. These can be a full time gaming headset if you need them to be, or a portable in between product for workouts.

Absolutely amazing earbuds
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Amazing audio quality, loud and no latency. I switched to these after using audio technica earbuds through an Astro mix amp and I’m so pleased. Ease of use, quality and lack of latency make these a no brainer. The battery last 5 hours which isn’t the greatest but the convenience and quality make it a fair trade.

Eh
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. At the time of this writing, this pair of earbuds is one of the better ones out there for low latency gaming. It's good but not great; there aren't many other better options out there as far as earbuds go. Sound clarity isn't quite there with these earbuds, so any sounds that should sound crisp (e.g., strings, pianos, woodwinds) come out sounding a bit muffled. Imagine a pair of headphones that came with CD players from the 2000s era; that's kinds of what it sounds like. In order to minimize audio lag, the headphones will occasionally calibrate itself during use; where sound will blip in and out for about 5 seconds. Minor inconvenience for low latency, so I can't really complain. Battery life on these is relatively short, and the low battery notification sound is jarringly loud. 2.5-3 hours of use after a full charge is okay with me since I don't like to play games for longer than that, but it will be a deal breaker for others. A lot of room for improvement here. For the current price tag, I would be hesitant to recommend this to anyone.

Perfect for Steam Deck owners!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought these earbuds for my Steam Deck because they were recommended by an article that reviews accessories for handheld gaming consoles. If you own a Steam Deck, these earbuds come highly recommended. In fact they are rated as the best for the handheld console. I was pleasantly surprised by the sound quality, the connectivity and the comfort. I use them for my iPhone to play Apple Music as well as to make and receive phone calls. Music sounds great, nice bass and highs. Call quality is clear with no static. Gaming is just as good as any headset I’ve ever used. They fit comfortably in my ear and do not fall out. Although they do not come with noise cancellation, they fit so snug that it feels as if they have that option. I recommend this product for everyone.

Purchase!!! Great Product
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The volume is pretty good but could be a bit louder. The fit of the earpods fit very comfortably inside the ear. The case has a nice sleek finish that gives it a futuristic look which I absolutely love. Overall the EPOS GTW 270 Hybrid are an amazing pair of gaming headphones that any gamer would be satisfied with.
