Exactly what a legacy Epson printer needs

This 3-pack of color cartridges fits many legacy models of Epson multifunction printers, including mine, the Stylus CX4800. Naturally, it does the job it's supposed to, though it makes one wish the cartridges were available separately on demand, so that you didn't have to get them all at once. That quibble aside, the ink does its job, and you have what you need when you need it, for less than paying for each cartridge alone.

had to replace ink in a printer that had not been used in quite a long time and had to install the printer too so i decided to go with brand name ink to avoid any install problems and avoid any hassle of not knowing if the printer or the ink was the source of any trouble. Had no issues and the ink worked first time printing with no quality problems.

There's a lot of third-party inks out there, and since they're often much cheaper than the real Epson inks, they're very tempting. But you don't always know what you'll get as far as quality with them. These Epson ink cartridges are always solid and I never have any issues. I won't always pay full price for the real thing, but I admit I'm never disappointed when I do.

This isn't the easiest ink to find anymore, however, I was lucky to find this at the store this time. I have ordered this on the Best Buy site before and always find it in stock. While my Epson printer might not be the newest, I still love it and hope to be able to use it for a longtime. Great price for ink and it works nice too.

Ink is ink, but Epson stinks

My machine says it is out of ink and stops printing, but I can shake the cartridge and hear liquid sloshing inside. I won't buy an Epson printer again. Also, my experience in the past has shown that Epson builds something into their printers that makes them break down if you use a different brand of ink (i.e., the store brand).

If you have an Epson inkjet printer C88+ this is the best ink to use. It is made specifically for this and a couple other Epson model printers. However, this ink cartridge is getting harder and harder to find. I think it may be phased out soon by Epson.

It drys out once it is installed in a printer and not use it for some time. Other than that, it is a very good product. I have been using this ink since 2008. Prices for the ink has gone up and hard to find in all the stores. Very happy with the product.

Buying the package of 3 colors from Epson is the most economical means of replenishing ink for your Epson printer. Also, it is not a good idea the try discounted refill ink containers which would possibly damage the printer.
