Quality product for the price - good value
|Posted .We bought this for outdoor movies in the evenings. Excellent projector for the price. If you can find fault with this thing, then you're just someone who isn't satisfied without blowing lots of cash. We blew up the picture to 16'x8' (w x h). Sweet!

Great for movies!
Posted .Excellent product! I'm watching movies and TV shows with it. It has great picture quality and the fan is very quiet in ECO mode which I'm very happy about.

Great Projector
Posted .This is an awesome product for the price. I use it mainly to watch tv and I was surprised by how clear it is on the wall of my room even without a white screen. I would have gotten the one with 3D but I already have a 3D TV. It starts a bit noisy but once you hook up your speakers, the noise is a non-factor. Its a great buy for the current price tag.

Excellent basic projector
|Posted .I would recommend this to a friendBought this to replace a defunct secondary projector in a church: permanent mount, inverted (bottom-up), front projection. I had checked the specs on Epson's site before purchase, so I knew that the image size would be correct for the throw distance. (Kudos to Epson.com for their excellent Throw Distance Calculator web app.) We had to fabricate an adapter to attach the "universal" mounts on the projector to the holes on the existing "universal" bracket, but that was OK. Image quality is superb and super-bright in a well-lit room, and the fan is very quiet. Great compact projector, esp. for its price point. The only problem was with the image settings. We adjusted the inversion, zoom and keystone when we installed it, then shut it off. When it was turned back on a few days later, it lost all of those settings. Fixed them again, and it forgot them again on the next power-off. There is no menu option to save settings as default. It made no sense that a projector that's designed for fixed installation couldn't retain its geometry settings. Eventually, we figured out that we had to turn off "Auto setup" on the Image menu, which is on by default. The manual describes this as "Automatically optimizes computer image quality (when On)," with no further explanation. "Automatically makes bizarre and random geometry changes" would be more accurate. Once we turned that off, it worked perfectly. Settings now are retained across sessions. -1 usability point for mediocre docs. Everything else about it is great.

easy to use
|Posted .I would recommend this to a friendI use this to project the words for worship songs at our church. It's easy to set up and use, and the picture is great compared to our old projector. The only things I don't like is that I need to unplug it after each use (it stays in one place) and I need to reset the computer's sound settings each time I use it so that the sound goes to the sound system speakers and not the projector's sound system. I did have to download software from the Epson website for the USB connection; they were helpful over the phone.

Awesome projector
|Posted .I would recommend this to a friendThis is my first projector ever. I purchased this parricular kind on the advise of a friend . I use it primarily to watch movies and tv . The projector is very easy to use . It has only one hdmi so i purchase a spliter where i hook the cable tv . An apple tv , a blue ray disk player . . My son loves to plug his video console and play video games here with his friends . During the day time you must close the curtains and have a dark room to enjoy it. The picture is very clear and very bright . For the price you cant get any better projector

Outstanding value, great quality.
|Posted .I would recommend this to a friendIf you present to small/medium audience, you may need your own projector. I have seen a few professionals rely on devices supplied by the hotel or location where they are presenting with mixed success. Having your own reliable projector, knowing how to use it and knowing it works added to my confidence in front of crowd of 30. It was well worth the cost. Also, I called TECH Support for a question regarding special sequencing of slides and they were excellent.

Excellent small home theater projector
|Posted .I would recommend this to a friendBought this to use in my first home theater since the ones specifically meant for that are so expensive. Looks good during the day or night. We love watching football and movies on it, it looks amazing!

Q: Questionwhat video format will it play?It says that it is plug and play, but I've had compatibility issues with other projectors with that claim. If I have an external hard drive or a flash drive with an mp4 video file on it-will that file format play? what about avi?
Asked by pyrewoman.
- A:Answer I have hooked up my ROKU box via HDMI cables to this projector and streamed tv shows and movies from Netflix, VUDU, and Amazon movies out in my back yard. I have also hooked up a raspberry pi running Kodi on it and the projector plays it all without a problem. You can not simply stick in a usb drive with a movie file on it. You need a media player etc... for example I use the raspberry pi to play my movie files which I have stored on a 128 gigabyte usb drive. (The flash drive is in the raspberry pi, the raspberry pi is connected to the projector...) You could also hook up your PC via usb or hdmi cables and play movie files that way. Image quality is fantastic. We have enjoyed many nights watching movies outside....

Q: QuestionWhat else do I need to purchase with this?I have a Macbook and want to purchase this projector. I see that it comes with a USB and VGA cable, but do I need anything else to start watching movies on it? I'm seeing some people say that it needs to be connected with an HDMI cord. Anyone have suggestions on which HDMI or does it matter? Thanks!

- A:Answer It has an internal speaker but for the total experience you need a sound system. Spend the extra if you can. You won't be sorry.

Q: QuestionWill this meet the requirements I've detailed below? We need a projector for services in our sanctuary. This projector's maximum throw is about what we need. We need one that will keystone horizontally and vertically, will mount on the ceiling, will connect to our speaker system, and will show images on the screen which is close to windows. This one seems to meet those needs. Am I correct? We are willing to spend more if you can recommend a projector that would better meet those needs.
Asked by Ginger.
- A:Answer This projector does not have an audio output. Which means you can not connect speakers directly to it. You would need to run the sound from the source.

Q: QuestionRun time for EX3220 LCD ProjectorCan I use my EX3220 LCD Projector for straight 7 -8 hours? Thanks
Asked by Carmela.
- A:Answer Hi! I have been using it for 8-10 straight hours a day 4-5 times a week for 2 months now and I'm not having any issues with it. It doesn't get noisier or hotter than usual, but it might going to burn out the lamp faster (which I'm not sure about and I hope it's not going to because the new lamp is pretty pricey).
