Purchased for use as outdoor movie projector and it works well for this but there a few things to note (later in the review). This is pretty much a plug and play device for what I wanted to use it for. I'm pretty sure that connecting to a PC would be as easy as it was for me to setup for movies. NOTE: This is only a projector, you will need a source, something to connect to that is capable of playing what you want. I have tried a laptop, XBox1S, Nintendo Switch and Amazon FireTV. They all work to project an image using HDMI. There is no audio OUT from the projector and the built in speaker should not be the only speaker. With this being said. The laptop and Switch worked well because they have a 3.5mm audio jack that allows for the connection to speakers. The Xbox1S only has a digital audio output from the console, BUT, the wireless controller did allow for the 3.5mm jack to connect to and work to send the sound to the speakers (adjustment for sound settings needed for the controller). The Amazon FireTV only has digital audio out. Unless you connect the audio out from the FireTV to a real AV receiver it will be difficult to hear the audio.

I initially had purchased a 720p model since it was the only available at the store, which was already very good, but then I decided to return it and order this 1080p model online. I do not regret it. The resolution is so good that it's impossible to make out the pixels unless standing less than 3 feet from the projection screen. The image is bright even during the day or with lights on at night, and the color is phenomenal. I've been doubling this projector for business usage and to watch TV shows and movies at home, and the color is so vivid even projecting to a regular wall. The WiFi function makes it even easier to present without wires, I honestly wouldn't imagine purchasing any other projector.

This was recommended to me by someone who works in best buy. I had an older espon projector and wanted to upgrade. This projector has great video. The picture is nice and bright and has great quality. I am mounting this on a ceiling and have a screen installed on the wall. When I tested it, everything looks amazing. Only reason this does not get 5 stars is because the projector does not have audio output and the speaker is not that great. Other than that I would recommend this to everyone. I mounted a wall outlet device that connects to a receiver, so people can plug the sound into that device.
