    • Resolution (Native): 1920 x 1080 (Native resolution of a screen refers to its single, fixed resolution. Sometimes screens must scale an image up or down in order to fit the native resolution. This can cause a loss of resolution or detail.)
    • 3-Chip Technology: true (Projectors with this technology are able to display images with optimal brightness, color, and detail. Because of their high-performance design, these projectors are primarily used in large venues and digital cinemas.)
    • Contrast Ratio: Up to 35,000:1 (Measured difference between a displayed image's brightest whites and darkest blacks. The larger the first number, the more detail and color that can be displayed.)
    • Aspect Ratio: 16:9 (The measurement of the width of a screen compared to the height of a screen, expressed as a ratio.)
    • Throw Ratio Range: 1.22 (wide zoom) - 1.47 (telephoto zoom) (This measurement indicates what size of projected image can be produced from a certain distance. The smaller the ratio, the closer the projector can be to the screen while still producing a large image.)
    • Digital Keystone Correction: true ("Keystone effect" refers to the distortion of an image when it is projected on an angled surface or when the projector is positioned too high or too low from the center of the display. Projectors with a digital keystone correction feature are able to scale the image as needed before it is projected, resulting in the correct image orientation no matter where it is displayed.)

    • Maximum Aperture: 1.7 (The limit to how wide a lens can be open, typically expressed in f-numbers. The smaller the number, the larger the aperture and the more light that can enter the lens. A larger aperture creates a shallower depth of field, helpful for keeping subjects in focus and blurring background details.)

Q: Bluetooth Sound Bar

A: I have the same exact projector and the same Vizio 5.1 (SB4051C) and it works fine and I get 5.1 always. I connect source-> sound bar -> hdmi wireless transmitter -> hdmi wireless receiver -> projector. This way the cables are avoided and I did not observe any lag, the A/V sync works near perfect. I even tried bluetooth to check the lag, but I found there was a lag if we connect the source to projector directly with a hdmi and use bluetooth as audio to sound bar. The sound bar has controls to delay the audio and I am not sure if we can delay video with any software or tools as video is ahead of sound in this case.

Q: Will this connect wirelessly to Mac?

A: If you connect an Apple TV to the projector using HDMI, it will allow you to use AirPlay to mirror your Mac and iOS devices wirelessly to the projector.

Q: Will it project 18' away using a 130" screen?

A: ProjectorCentral.com has a projector calculator to figure out throw distance for every projector on the market. I have my projector about 10 feet from the wall and our screen is 96" diagonal.

Q: How loud is its fan?

A: We have this projector mounted above our heads in our theater. We don't notice the fan when using ECO Mode. On normal mode the fan sounds like a computer fan when it gets loud. I work in IT and we have many projectors at work (college environment) and this one is one of the quietest I've dealt with while in ECO Mode. Note: ECO Mode makes a small difference in screen brightness and I would recommend using it all the time.

Q: Bulb Replacement

A: Yes it only has 2 screws and the lamps go for 80 bucks

Q: Connecting a simple stereo

A: All you have to do is go straight from the HDMI source into the stereo and bypass the projector. For example, have your BD/DVD player either plug into the receiver and then from the receiver to the projector. Or, most BD/DVD players have an optical output that you can plug straight into the receiver. Either way, I would think bypassing the projector is the way to go.
