Great home projector to watch movies on!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We love the new projector. I would've marked five stars however I had to purchase an hdmi audio converter to connect the sound system. Other than that it has been a wonderful experience!

Not for a home theater
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We bought this projector to put in the home theater of our vacation rental. Our Epson 1440 had gotten damaged and we didn’t want to spend a lot of money. Our tech guy suggested we put an inexpensive projector in there. After purchasing and installing this one we knew it was a mistake. The first image is a close-up of the picture quality of the VS 250. It’s just not clear enough to enjoy TV and movies. So we returned it and replaced it with the Epson 1450. You can compare the first image to the second one and see the difference. The VS 250 may be fine for projecting graphs and simple slideshows but I would not recommend it for your home theater.
No, I would not recommend this to a friendBrand response from Epson
Posted .Hi SnowLady, thank you for sharing your experience. We're sorry the VS250 did not meet your needs, but we are glad you are happy with the Epson 1450 — the extra brightness and jump up to 1080p resolution really makes a difference! Here's to many happy years of Full HD projecting in your vacation home. Best, Marina – The Epson Team.

Great projector
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The projector hooked up easily with my computer and projected an image of my computer screen brightly on the wall 15 ft away. The image was 8 ft tall and 15 ft wide and was easy to focus. I'm pleased with this purchase.

3200 Lumens in a tiny package!!!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I often travel and present in varying different kinds of setups for my career - connected displays, built in projectors, and sometimes I come across a site that has nothing. That's when it becomes key to have a portable projector in your bag! This model is on the smallest side of enterprise grade professional projectors. This particular model sits at the intersection of brightness, size/weight, and resolution. While 800x600 ius on the small side it works well for me at an extremely high value. This projector is a star both in a fully lit room and with the lights off/lowered. Brightness will blow your image up VERY visible in spite of overhead flourescent lights. I dig the digital/automatic keystoning that adjusts itself as it goes. Build is decent an Epson is a well known name in projectors. I haven't had any running or hookup issues with this projector in my time using it. Overall I love this thing and I travel with it in the car all the time. The size is small enough that it doesn't take up too much space. I DO wish at this price point it came with a bag or carrying case. I would recommend this projector to anyone looking for a value projector in the enterprise realm that has outgrown a pico projector. The attached photos show a regular screen being projected on the wall both with the lights on and off.

The Projector you need
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I absolutely love this projector. This machine will fit all your needs (work or play). When I opened the VS250,I immediately connected it to my laptop to check out it's capabilities. Hands down, the most beautiful display I've seen from a projector in this price range. I then decided to get creative and connected a game console to it. One plug of an HDMI cable and I was playing a multiplayer match on my ceiling. It shows a great picture even in a moderately lit room. The sound quality is lovely, with very little distortion. I could bore you with specs, but you can read that in the product description. I'm telling you that this very simple and portable machine does what it says and more. I highly recommend the Epson VS250 to anyone looking to step up their work and entertainment game. This is definite buy.

Q: Questionhow is the picture with this projector with daylight in the room?
Asked by Blaze.
- A:Answer 3200 lumens is pretty bright. Epson would recommend you not have direct daylight for optimal use... I can tell you this projector works VERY well with direct overhead lighting, and it keeps up with sunlight okay. It's definitely not like the older deal breaker projectors that required the blinds closed.

Q: QuestionI also have no idea about techie stuff - if I wanted to use this projector to show movies on DVDs, would I be able to hook this projector up to a DVD player? Thanks.
Asked by Anonymous.
- A:Answer Yes but you must have the three prong red yellow and white cord to hook it up.

Q: QuestionWhat is the sound quality for this projector? I need it for videos in my classroom.
Asked by Teacher89.
- A:Answer We use this projector for a Sunday school classroom with 10 students and the sounds is fairly loud. But if it is a 10+ student classroom I think you would be better off getting external speakers connected.

Q: QuestionI know absolutely nothing about tech stuff. I want to buy a projector for my husband for Christmas and I have a question about this one. Can you connect the projector to the Dish cable directly and watch the football game on it?
Asked by Chaz.

Q: QuestionCan you use a firestick and hook this up to a soundbar at the same time? Either through Bluetooth or the optical cable?
Asked by Jmr.
- A:Answer You need to purchase a HDMI audio extractor. I found one on Amazon for $24.99. once you get that you can hook up your speakers via cable not Bluetooth. You would think this projector would have a audio out but it does not so you need the audio extractor. Hope this helps.
