Reliable printer that's worth the price . . .
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Epson WorkForce Pro printer setup was extremely simple, the network wireless connection was easy, printing is super quick and the quality being printed is on par with more expensive printers on the market. What’s also impressive it has a friendly easy to use touch screen interface. If you need a reliable printer for your home or office the WorkForce Pro is worth the price.

I think this is a great printer, reliable!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've had several home office printers and this one has been one of the best. It was well priced and I don't find myself constantly off to the store for more printer cartridges. That saves on cost greatly! The printer quality is excellent and ease of use is a plus.

Epson convert
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Our family in the past only used Canon but we have converted to Epson and so happy we did. Our Canon was not old, just shy of year and a half when it decided to die. We were at the point do I repair a fairly inexpensive machine or do we put our money into a newer machine. I researched many reviews and used Consumer Reports when I came across this one (Epson WF-4630). The reviews were outstanding. I have to agree with all of the positive reviews. Reasons we liked this particular machine were the cartridges last longer and are individual, wireless feature for all our devices, large paper tray, all in one machine for home office use, and super easy set up. The print quality is superb. This printer uses a little more room than my previous printer but does not get in the way on a small desk. Our family has enjoyed this printer for the past few months, we are looking forward for future print jobs and projects we will be able to complete. I would recommend this printer.

Great printer
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've used this printer for the past few months to print out documents and photos on photo paper. The ink cartridge installs easily and it was easy to set up wireless printing through the touchscreen. The print quality is great for my needs and prints documents relatively fast.

Nice Printer Choice
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I really like this printer. I needed something to print postcards in duplex mode with a rear tray and this does it. It says it can handle up to 80 pages (probably 20lb) in the rear tray and its pretty close to that. I use 65lb post card stock and it will hold about 30 of those, which is great. Duplex mode is awesome and I haven’t had any issues with smearing as a few comments have stated and I found that paper type is the main cause of that. You can also set the dry time per side in the menu section of the printer which will delay side 2 printing and let the ink dry longer. I haven’t had to change the default setting on that though. Color print is nice with no lines. Black print is excellent, also with no lines. What I found with old inkjet is that the black print was inferior with Laser, obviously the new technology has changed that. Black print is much better than my laser and I seem to use that only for printing large docs now. This is a 30000 print machine per month and I don’t recommend this machine if you don’t print more than once or twice a week. Office machines are built for use to keep them clean. Scanning is good but I love the fact I can scan Wireless to my PC. What a pain the old cables were to have to do that. On the MACBook, I use Image Capture because it seems, at the moment, the epson software isn’t really compatible. I don’t mind because Image Capture is awesome and easy to use. The printer will also scan to the cloud but I don’t use that at the moment and it will print to a Memory Stick with the USB in the front of the machine. Copying is also great and easy with single or multi sheet feed. For the price, this printer really cannot be beat. I haven’t seen what I would get out of a full cartridge yet but In a month I’ll come back. You can always find Epson Ink on sale at BB or other office supply stores that will significantly lower the price per page on this even lower. I just ordered two black cartridges 786xl’s for less than $27 a piece on sale. If I can get 1000 prints out of them, I’m already at 2.7 cents per page. Even lower as I go up from there. Only issue I have is the menu is a little bit disorganized, but not bad, and in the Mac, print settings seem to hold less features than printing from a Windows PC. I have noticed the same with my HP printer as well so I’m not sure why that is the case. Setup is cake and as I said, I use Macbook laptop and a few other Windows based PCs to print to it with no issues. My laser HP disconnects from the router every once in a while and I’ll have to reset it but I have not had that issue with this yet. If you have a small office, print more than the normal home owner, this is the machine to get. If you want to send postcards, you can’t beat the rear tray feature which is rated for 68lb stock and envelopes as well. For $200, today this printer with rear tray has no match in this price range

Good for price
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This 4630 replaced an Epson 4020. I loved the 4020 for the speed and duplex printing. Until it died after three hard years it gave no problems. The 4630 has more features. I find the printing comparable to the 4020, and that was my main concern, so I am happy. Fast and the color is solid. No complaints. I don't use the fax, but may in the future. I am mixed on the scanning. The interface is cumbersome to me. I use a Canon 9000F so that is my reference - and the 9000F is great, but single sheet with no feeder. The 4630 feeds, which is convenient, but does not do slides, which is a project of mine, so I still use the 9000F for that. Also, to scan, I find I have to initiate the software on my computer rather than just touching the "Scan" button on the screen. One gripe, which may be easily corrected if I wanted to spend the time to research it (I don't) is that the printer does not just accept the current print job. If I change printer properties (go from rear tray, set for different types of papers, etc,) which I frequently do, it makes me use the touch screen and confirm the choice. Irritating. Also - no news here - why do the ink cartridges have to be so expensive? I can't find generic replacements like I could for the 4020. Perhaps in time. But printing is the main gig, and for that it does great - comparable to the old.4020.

Q: QuestionHow easy is it to pull out jammed paper? Does it accept printing from IPads? The printer cartridges print on average how many pages?
Asked by Anonymous.
- A:Answer Hard to answer the jammed paper question, because for as long as I have it, it hasn't jammed. :) The printer cartridges are way bigger then previous home printers, I can't guess because it depends on how and what colors you demand. Rest assured they will having you running for replacement ink a lot less then before.....Yes, printing can be handled from many different sources including I-phones and Ipad's
