    Synopsis

    Escape From Tomorrow
Content husband and father Jim (Roy Abramsohn) learns that he has lost his job during a family vacation to a popular theme park, and grows increasingly obsessed with two vivacious teenage girls, clandestinely following them around the park while experiencing an acute break from reality, and keeping his newly unemployed status a carefully guarded secret from his unsuspecting family. Surreptitiously shot at both Walt Disney World and Disneyland, this surreal, monochromatic psychological drama made its official world premiere at the 2013 Sundance Film Festival before receiving an official stateside release courtesy of Producers Distribution Agency. ~ Jason Buchanan, Rovi

This movie was shot almost completely "under cover" at Disney in Florida without the theme park's knowledge or permission. The film itself makes for a bizarre but gripping tale of the reality of the magic kingdom as seen by parents vs. the children they take. Parts are almost psychedelic in rendering. The included documentary is a very interesting revelation of how the filmmakers shot the movie and the legal issues involved. A must-see for those interested in film.

This film is set at Disneyworld in Orlando, FL where a man is taking his family there on vacation. He starts to have a mental breakdown after hearing he lost his job back home. The rest of the movie is him seeing things and trying to protect his family from various perceived threats. Very low budget film, black/white, with poor acting.. but is still interesting.

A man takes his family on a vacation to Disney World, which turns into a surreal nightmare. Shot gonzo style, it's unbelievable that this film got made AND released without interference from the Disney corporation. Funny, scary, and sometimes a little creepy too! Not for the whole family, but if your in the mood for something definitely different, check it out.

I was told about this movie by a friend and after watching the trailer online it looked VERY interesting. I couldn't wait for it to come out on video to see it, but when it did I was disappointed- the trailer made the movie out to be a sci-fi horror movie taking place at Disneyland, but it's actually just... I guess a thriller, I'm not sure what to call it.

This movie has a good deal of good things about it. It was shot without Disney knowing. It was shot in artful black and white. Other than that craziness ensues and it becomes creepy and creepy as the day progresses for this man who is living on the edge after a bad situation happens to him. Definitely worth watching to see this guerilla style film.

I will give them props for what they did...but it was by no means a good movie. would I recommend? Yes...because its weird and its unique. I bought it knowing it wasn't going to be a masterpiece, but was watchable enough and I am a collector so it adds to that. Also Escape From Tomorrow would be a pretty good metal band name...

Gutsy first film! Rough around the Edges, but fun.

Directorial Debut that appears like no other Indie film. The Director is trying for a David lynch view of the Disney Theme Parks. Black and White photography turns a family trip to Disney World into something out of a Fever Dream. Absurd, Funny, terrifying, and occaionally sickening. You will watch this more than once

Growing up in a Disney household and going to Disneyland a lot, this movie had me intrigued. I did not know the story going in and I won't spoil it for you. Just know the whole movie was shot without Disney knowing about it. A great idea for a story, but it seems like it went to waste.
