I got this to have down in my cellar when we have bad weather. The other day I used it to power my cell phone because our power went out. You have to wind it a lot to get the battery to charge anything. Besides that it is a pretty good weather radio/charger. Also if you have an Iphone 5 or higher you will need an adapter. It did not work with my phone.
