||Posted .Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed.Works great. Took me a moment to get set up. Directions clear. I just wish the sound of motion was different then text alert. Same with door bell. Qhen someones at door it sends your text sound alart. I think after i call them they will explain hownto makenit a differt sound. The alarm crazy a door bell sound would be better. If i would u the alarm someone at door or at back window. I would get kicked out. Please change to a doorbell sound in memory box.

I am getting otustanding battery life out of these. Much better than expected. Also really like that there i no monthly subscription fee. ALl your vids/data is self managed on the HomeBase. I'll probably expand the system.

Q: QuestionI have a Verizon Jetpack. Can I run a camera, or multiple cameras off that 2.4ghz WiFi network produced off the jet pack or do I need a base station? Would there be storage fees associated to store videos if comparable with the jetpack w/o using a base.

- A:Answer The battery is rechargeable, it last 6-9 month with Apple HomeKit enabled and motion detection set to high. No SD card is required but you do need to buy the Eufy HomeBase which is what the camera is connected to and where the recordings are stored. I have a solar charger connected to my camera so I don’t need to charge it.

- A:Answer If you want to avoid the fees for storage, you can get the Eufy Home Base. If you are ok with paid for storage, then do not get it, but the advantage of having the base is that no one can see your videos it is more private.and no loss of data, while Cloud storage can be hack and the data can be lost.
