I love how sleek and discrete Eve’s Door and Window sensor is when mounted. Not only can you receive notifications when the door/window is opened, but you can also set up automations to run. We currently have an automation running that turns on our light strip in the kitchen when we open the door, and it has been great! It’s so nice to have everything automated and not have to tell Siri what to turn on. When my hands are full or I’m carrying my daughter, I know that my automations will run seamlessly to help me out. It also comes with extensions/expanders to make the smaller sensor taller if need be, which I did end up using to get the perfect connection.

Purchased two. One picked up by iPhone immediately. Second shows a light when open & close door but will not register on iPhone.

These sensors are very fast if hooked to a Thread network, making them excellent for initiating automations in HomeKit. The first one I had was chewing through batteries and the company (Eve) replaced it with no issues. Great product, great company.
