I have loved Weezer practically my whole life. The Blue Album was released when I was only nine years old, and I ate it up like a baby finally graduating from mush to solid foods. While they haven't always been 100% consistent (see: 2001-2005), Weezer still continues to impress and delight me. Their music is joyful and satirical, fun and heartwarming. And they still exemplify that "nerd rock" vibe they helped pioneer 20 years ago. Everything Will Be Alright in the End is no exception. Cuomo's songwriting shines here, and it echoes the great songs of album's past, from Pinkerton's "The Good Life" to The Red Album's "The Greatest Man that Ever Lived". Even so, there is still creativity and originality evident in each lyric, each hook, and each refrain. It felt like a long wait since 2010's Hurley, but boy, was it worth it. Standout tracks: "Back to the Shack", "Cleopatra"

It's quite possible you were a lover of Weezer 20 years ago but after the first couple of albums you grew up and lost interest. I implore you to check out their latter day albums (and listen with a kind ear and an open heart) because it's actually really good, rockin' stuff. I'm talking about the 2000's stuff--the Green Album and after. That is, if you can handle the silliness. "EWBAITE", as it is affectionately referred to, falls right in line with the likes of Ratitude and the Red Album, but does seem reflective, and bookends nicely with the Blue Album. Case in point, the single off of the album, "Back to the Shack", reminisces on those bonny bygone days of yore. The thing is, 20 years later, Weezer hasn't changed all that much. If you've been away for a while, come back and give this one a chance.

Weezer strikes back. For fans of the band this is a charmer. For new comers this is what the old guard fans have been talking about. The cd is solid throughout. Catchy rythms, insightful and playful lyrics, that drip with righteous indignation and sarcasm that only Mr. Cuomo could deliver flawlessy. The performance and production is dead on. Don't just take my word, BUY this cd!!!

This album is amazing! I can't stop listening to it! I definitely would recommend this to any long term Weezer fans and to any new Weezer fans. "Back to the Shack" really seems to apologize to the fans for their screw ups on some of the more recent albums. For me, it's an apology for "Ratitude", I didn't really care much for that album. Pick this album up!! And rock out!!!

Lovers of THE BLUE ALBUM and PINKERTON rejoice! Rivers Cuomo and the boys in Weezer return to form with EVERYTHING WILL BE ALL RIGHT IN THE END. The guitars and lyrics here recall their first two albums, when Weezer was a catchy antidote to the lazy grunge spewing out of Seattle at the time. The best tunes will remind you of when you first fell in love [with the band].

After the peak of excitement when the band reunited in 2000, Weezer slowly eroded my feelings of goodwill to them over the years. But this album, while obviously highly calculated, flows beautifully through three themes, multiple suites, and a renewed sense of melody and detail. It sounds like the group I thought disbanded in spirit over a decade ago.

I am a fan of Weezer, have their first 4 albums, seen them in concert twice. After a few disappointing albums, I didn't have my hopes too high for this one but I love it. Definitely a return to form. I've listened to it at least 10x already since I bought it. Great stuff, a little weak at the middle of the album, but a great album.

Weezer has been a favorite band of mine since the 90's. I own every album, and I have to say Everything Will Be Alright In The End is one of their best endeavors to date. A perfect blend of modeen day rock but with plenty of old school riffs that help the record fit in beautifully with their other albums. 5 stars.
