Amazing Gaming Video Card!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have bought many graphic cards in my years of PC gaming from the ATi Radeon 9800 Pro, Nvidia 5600, ATi 2600 HD PRO, Nvidia 650 GTX, to this one. This is by far the best purchase I have ever made when it comes to computer parts. The video card is more powerful than the Nvidia 650 GTX that it replaced. The drivers were a piece of cake to install. 3D Vision worked right of the gate. All my games including Borderlands 2, Just Cause 2, Battlefield 4, Cities: Skylines, and Sleeping Dogs play at max settings with 45fps+ at 1080p resolution. Amazing purchase and a great price on clearance at Best Buy

An Older Card Now, but Runs Well
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Despite it's age, this is a good GPU. The online description did not tell me that I needed a power supply with at least 450 watts on the +12 V rail specifically, nor that the GPU was super clocked. That's a marketing/advertising problem and not indicative of the GPU though. I've used this GPU for several weeks now (primarily gaming) and it's running strong. It's a LARGE card, so make sure you have room. When the fan kicks on 100% (which is VERY rare), it can be loud; but typically, the fan stays fairly quiet. I upgraded from a Geforce GTS 450 and noticed a significant difference. A good card and very pleased with this purchase and would recommend, just make sure you have adequate space and watts.

Excellent product and price point
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After some research, I found this to be the same model that was on other sites, but Best Buy has an exclusive model number. Once you figure that out, you can easily see what others say about it. With that being the case, this GPU has great reviews and they are well deserved. The installation was a breeze and it is very quiet. Also, I purchased this when it was $50-$60 less than the norm. Couple that with the rewards program and you got a great deal. Performance wise, this thing is a beast. My frame rates more than doubled, easily supports multiple monitors, and keeps very cool.

Powerful Card for Gamers and multiple monitor rigs
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is another EVGA SuperClocked graphics card that comes in at a great price point. I also own the GTX 480 version and run it regularly over clocked about 10%. This model is longer and forced me to move a few SATA connections on the motherboard but installation was still very quick and easy. Very quiet and runs at Ultra settings with no problem. My older model came with a ten year warranty so I was a little bit disappointed in this model only coming with three but honestly, will I really be using the same graphics card for ten years? I think not. No other issues so far. I would definitely recommend this card.

Great mid-range video card
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So far this has been a pretty decent video card. It can play most games on the highest settings. I don't play any shooters so I'm not sure how it would hold up to games like Crysis, CoD, etc., but I can play League of Legends on the highest settings and still get 60 FPS. It runs pretty great on Guild Wars 2. I have most of the settings on high and get good FPS as well. The 2 GB of DDR5 RAM in this card will get the job done for most games if you have at least a duo-core processor. I've got an older Dell Inspiron that I've upgraded RAM, SSD, and this card has given my old PC new life. I would recommend getting this over a $500-600 card unless you are just an extreme enthusiast. It will play just about anything even on an old PC. My only critique is that it is huge. It would barely fit into my old Inspiron tower. In fact, it blocked some of my SATA ports so now I cant connect my CD-ROM drive (but who needs it anyway, right?) This was probably designed for a custom PC with a large tower. Still, despite it's size it is very quiet even with intense gaming and the cooling mechanism seems to work great. I have not had any lag or drop in framerate. I would recommend this as a great mid-range card that will play most anything you can throw at it with at least medium and mostly high graphics settings (assuming you have a decent amount of RAM and at least a duo-core processor). Overall, I am very satisifed with this card for the amount I paid.

Good value and easy PC upgrade
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Due to rapidly changing PC environment, be sure to check the date of this write up vs the date you make your purchase. BUT as of today...I needed a good video card but not absolute top of the line. My primary game of choice is Starcraft 2. My computer is less than a year old but the video card it came with was junk...good processor, ram, etc. though. This graphics card is a great bang for the buck and the installation was as easy as it gets with no problems. I can have all graphics options set to max and SC2 runs perfectly. A superb purchase for my needs.

Great graphics card for gaming.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great graphics card. However, it's rather large. The built-in fan cover makes space between cards tight. However, I haven't had any issues with overheating even when moderately over-clocked. Also, it's a pretty long card as well. It butted up against the hard drive cables in a mid-size tower case. I actually had to replace a straight SATA hard drive cable with an angled cable in order for it to fit. It was well worth it though.

Q: QuestionIs super clocked bad for my computerIf I get this super clocked graphics card, will it more likely over heat while playing games, using one monitor? Currently I have a Nividia Gt 640 2 gb.
Asked by Jake.
- A:Answer The card will not overheat. Cards that are OC'd from the manufacturer are tested and validated higher than the reference board they take after. Just make sure you have SOME air circulation in your system.
