Definitely a contender in the capture card market. The passthrough is just that, pass through. Cant record with passthrough. As far as streaming in 4k, you really cant because no platform currently supports 4k. Still a good buy if youre looking to stream/record in 1080p60.

Worked great after I turned the Sony FDR-AX53 HDMI output to auto.
A:AnswerI use this device to go from camera, Sony FDR-AX53, HDMI output to USB on laptop (takes 2 USB ports), then use OBS software to steam live to FB or YT.
