I'm a huge fan of the Harry Potter series, and was excited to watch this prequel. It was very disappointing. The asthetics were outstanding, but the story itself was extremely lacking. I was hoping that it was based on a book, so I could read it to fill in the holes in the plot, but none exists. It's just a poorly written screenplay.

Great addition to my Harry Potter Collection, although not subject related, it's a fun part of the overall collection and maintains a good story flow with plenty of interesting characters and critters. Very entertaining

I hope they make more of this series, I like it when these world building genres go back and fill in back story...thats what the fantastic beasts stories do for Harry Potter
