It's not totally surprising, but this album doesn't really stand out from Nickelback's other work. After a while, most bands seem to fall into this pattern, where there's some variation from one release to the next, but it becomes harder to pick out tracks that are really solid, as they just start to kind of blend into the overall sound of that particular album, whereas they had some more stand-out tracks on the last couple of releases.

If you are a Nickelback fan, then this is for you. Typical Chad R. pop rock formula. I avoided NB for awhile since I'm not a fan of what Mutt Lange did to NB a few albums back - lost the rawness that I liked with their earlier stuff. Anyway, it's all good but Chad has to take a break from same old tired formula even if they are Mutt-free; hence, the 3 stars. Title track riff is sweet!

Much better than their previous release, this album features some harder riffs and the typical ballads one would expect from NB. That being said, there were no songs that really grabbed me my first listen through it. Maybe some will grow on me with another listen or two. If you like Nickelback you'll probably like the album, hate 'em and you'll hate this too.

This is a great album. To date I have liked all Nickelback's albums with only one exception. This album is more metal than their previous efforts but is good and in a nice groove where both rock and metal fans can enjoy. The pop crowd that has liked Nickelback may not appreciate this album as much.

Have to admit, when I first heard the title track on radio I was nearly convinced that Nickelback had shed it's synth pop sound and returned to their guitar based roots. Needless to say, I was wrong. While this album isn't horrible, it still disappoints. I miss the real deal.

Advertised as a heavier album by Chad, I would say they delivered on that promise. Yes, still 2 slower tracks, but overall a bigger sound on this album. Still Nickleback so if you're a fan, highly recommend. If you're not, nothing here that will change your mind.

This cd shows them getting back to their original sound and style, a welcome departure from their recent efforts. This cd is still a bit uneven, but the majority of the songs are good, and it's easy to identify as traditional Nickelback.
