what happened to the origional BFMV?

Poison, an album that made punk rockers go metal heads, an album that had a solid mix of emotion, stature, confidence, and fluid riffs to go along with its steady but speedy rythems... Scream Aim Fire, not quite as outstanding as poison, but still a solid enough album to pull off a quality soundtrack and deliver on an agressive ride that made the listener blast through sets of love and hate riffs, wishing the album was even longer than it it was..... and then theres fever... Were to begin..... thats an extremly difficult question... lets start with the pro's shall we... PROS.... Bullet brought back there origional americanized accent so it doesnt have that odd feel that scream aim fire had..., 2 songs on the album will have you feeling like your listening to there older music. Now before you read this, please understand im putting alot of thought into what im saying and out of the sum 15,000 songs i own just in the metal/ rock genre alone... i will back up my opinion if nessesary... CONS.... there is nothing origional about this cd whatsoever.... it would be really easy to just skim the first 30 seconds of every song and think that every song is different enough from themselves, that they all have there own speed, own flow, and continue the diversity that previous albums obtained.... but you would be sadly mistaken... Every song is completly pop metal, bringing "catchy" yet annoying lyrics that stick with simplistic rhymes you would hear from artists like soulja boy, every song sticks with the standard metal formula, being intro-verse-chorus-verse-chorus-breakdown-chorus.... listen for yourself and you'll get what im saying, and every song seems like they could be a single that lasts 2 weeks on the radio before everyone forgets it. on top of this, outside of the lead's voice, everythings feels like a shallow sellout that had neerly no heart in it at all. now given some of the breakdowns are cool, but the fact is that none of it is origional at all, even for them. i realize that im gonna get a few thumbs down for what ive said, but if at least one person reads this and listens to this album on youtube or something, and realizes its not even worth the 7.99 price tag bestbuy is charging, then i have done my job and saved someone from wasting there money on absolute garbage. I closing, there are only 3 cd's i own that i feel i never should ever have bought. these would be Hollywood Undead's Swan Songs, new world orphan (hed) p.e., and Bullet For My Valentine's Fever... Dont Just Trust me,... check for yourself... save yourself the Fever....

    Bullet's Back!

I have this nasty habit of randomly purchasing CDs without listening to ANY of the music beforehand. Granted, I did listen to Bullet For My Valentine's older releases, I wasn't one of the many that rushed to download their pre-released tracks. So, when the date came around, I bought the CD, ripped open the case, and jammed it into my car radio. Instantly, I was blown away with greatness. If you're a BFMV fan, especially of their older stuff ('The Poison'/'Hand of Blood'), then you'll absolutely love this. They went back to their old, rock/metal sound without the forced overkill that 'Scream, Aim, Fire' gave us. The music, the lyrics, the vocals--everything has kept me in love with the album and I will proudly say that I've been addicted to it all month. I would strongly recommend this to anyone who asks my opinion of it or the band. After the last album, Bullet has definitely redeemed themselves.

Any Bullet for my Valentine fan has already seen or heard the songs Your Betrayal, Begging for Mercy and my personal favorite The Last Fight. These have made appearances during the past two months on Facebook, MySpace and YouTube, to name a few. I haven't heard the whole album yet but if it is anything like these three songs it will be an incredible compilation of metal! I used to listen to leaked versions of The Last Fight on YouTube when it was in terrible sound quality, before they put it on MySpace, and I still couldn't get enough.

I love this album. I finally purchased this album after having a small sample on a burned CD for a year two and I'm so glad I did. This album rocks and the lyrics of every song are true to the albums title. BFMV is a great band, with great musical aptitude and a power crushing sound that moves you. This album has been in my CD player for months now.

i have only heard one song on it so far but it sounds awesome. Their first CD Poison was the best Scream Aim Fire was average scremo hardcore but the song Your Betrayal was good more like their old stuff.
