FIFA 16 for Xbox 360
|Posted .No, I would not recommend this to a friendTech News Today reviewed EA’s recently released FIFA 16 for Xbox 360 and the PS3; Lets find out the improvements made and glitches found in the game this year By: Smith Dalton on Sep 24, 2015 at 9:41 am EST More articles on: Sony Corporation Microsoft Corporation Share on Facebook Share on Twitter follow us in feedly Flip EA’s latest football game FIFA 16 just saw its official release in the North America this Tuesday, 22nd September whilst the game is said to be launched in the European regions today. While others are reviewing FIFA 16 on current-gen consoles, we at TechNewsToday purchased a copy of the game for Xbox 360 and the PS3. It’s obvious that FIFA 16’s current-gen console version differs from the old-gens in almost every matter, especially when it comes to graphics. We tried out FIFA 16 on Xbox 360 earlier today and to be honest, players on the old-gen console look absolutely bullish. It’s depressing to see that even though FIFA 16 is the latest entry in the books, FIFA 15 still has better graphics on the old gen consoles. Footballers in FIFA 16 for Xbox 360 and PS3 look pretty fake, its normal to expect the graphics to be a whole-lot realistic on the current-gen consoles but that doesn’t mean EA shouldn’t have focused on improving graphics for the old-gen console. Apparently, teams in FIFA 16 look pretty “cartoonistic” even if compared to the previous FIFA game. It seems like developers of the game have put no interest in the games texture for FIFA 16 teams on the old-gen console. Not only do their faces look bad, even the hair and their body movements differ as well. For example, popular Real-Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo who in actual is 6 ft 1¼ in height looks much shorter in the game. Furthermore, we also did a speed test for players in FIFA 16 for Xbox 360 and PS3 and the result was devastating. If compared to FIFA 15, quick-paced players like Cristiano Ronaldo, Lionel Messi and Arjen Robben are way slower in FIFA 16. Moreover, and the worst part that we personally felt EA would have improved in the game was “GoalKeeping”. This however did not match up to the standards, as its more easy to beat the goal-keeper in FIFA 16 than it ever was in FIFA 16. In FIFA 16, all a player has to do is just enter the penalty area and press shoot. Now we know that’s what usually a player needs to do to score, however it was said previously that FIFA 16 would have improved goal-keeping and goal-keepers would make some really jaw-dropping saves which apparently was not the case this time. The goal-keeper reactions are drastically bad, at one point in the game while playing against FC Barcelona, the team's current midfielder experimented with a long shot (approximately 50 yards) and the ball just slowly rolled down past by Real Madrid goal-keeper Kiko Cassila, right into the net without him making any sort of attempts to stop it. Meanwhile, EA previously announced that FIFA 16 will also have improved crowd reactions and once again that was still not the case when we played the game. The entire home crowd stayed quiet throughout the match, the only time we did hear them was whenever our team scored a goal. The only two improved mechanisms that we did see in FIFA 16 for Xbox 360 and PS3 were the team’s defense and the highly anticipated one-touch dribble system. With FIFA 16, EA announced players will find it hard to pass by defenders and that thankfully was the case when we played the title on old-gen consoles as well. At one point in the game where we almost passed by the last remaining defender, another of that team's defender sprinted towards us quickly and tackled us once again. So it’s safe to say even though goal-keeping in FIFA 16 is not as strong as it should be, defense will be the player's only hope of survival against other teams. Moving ahead, the most impressive feature that got us off our seats while playing FIFA 16 was the “No Touch Dribbling” mechanism that allows players to change their directions swiftly while dribbling without even touching the ball. Hands down to EA for coming up with such a technique, it was absolutely beautiful to dribble past defenders in FIFA 16. Meanwhile, FIFA 16 for Xbox One and PS4 are said to be a perfect package, we assume that EA should have at least given a bit more attention towards the old-gen console editions as well. No doubt football fanatics will still purchase the game on Xbox 360 and the PS3 despite it having so many glitches, however our advice would be if you’re looking to attain the perfect FIFA experience, buying the game on the current gen consoles would be a smart idea and definitely the right thing to do. On a scale of 10, we would give FIFA 16 for Xbox 360 and the PS3 a disappointing seven. Hopefully EA would release updates for the old-gen console editions which might introduce improved graphics and other glitches that we mentioned above. Have you played FIFA 16 yet? Fantastic game!!
|Posted .I would recommend this to a friendLove this game. Best fifa game I've ever own. Graphics are on point. First day I couldn't put the remote control down, great game. Fifa needs to continue to add females teams on the game.

Exciting game
|Posted .I would recommend this to a friendI pre-order this game because my kids are currently playing soccer. The graphics looks good. But if it's anything like the previous Fifa games, it should be good, fun and exciting.

It looks like a real soccer game
|Posted .I would recommend this to a friendI originally saw this game being played in a common area on campus and had to ask what game they were watching. They laughed and said they were playing FIFA 16 and held up their controllers. I was shocked. I had to get this for the little soccer player in my life who also loves video games. He was so excited to get this game and kept shouting out the players names as he was playing it. Great gift and awesome graphics!

Great Game for Soccer Fans
|Posted .I would recommend this to a friendHaving had FIFA 15 I had relatively high expectations and this version didn't disappoint. The controls and game play are basically the same as the prior version with some improvements that aren't dramatic but make the game a little more fluid and challenging. My son really wanted this game for Christmas and has really enjoyed playing it so far. The addition of the women's teams has been a great inclusion as well.

Same old Great game
|Posted .I would recommend this to a friendExactly what you expect if you have been getting FIFA for years. Each game continually gets updated to have a more realistic feel to them. I would say the shots have been better, albeit long shots seem to be easier to make in this one as opposed to FIFA 15. The most significant change I would say would be in defending where "holding" is now a thing when trying to drag the offensive player back plus dribbling has become more natural and thus difficult. Great game. The only reason it is a 4 because I gauge my ratings on the product to price ratio. I just think all these video games now are a hefty sum to cash out for.
