The product heat works fine and has a great look and appeal when the flame lights are turned on. The only reason, I am giving a 3 star is because the switch was build with cheap plastic and it broke with 2 years of the purchase, however the heat still works when plugged in, without the switch function. The cable is also very short, a tad bit longer would be very nice.

We had recently lost connectivity to our electric baseboard heat in my granddaughter's basement new bedroom. We opted to purchase this unit for her tv/storage and heat and she loves it. She turns it on for a few minutes or keeps it on low and is comfortable all day. She put it together by herself (25yrs old).
