The Fitbit Blaze exercise tracker with heart and sleep monitor is a pretty good unit so far. I have had it since April and the battery charges and last for up to 5 days. I wear it during the day and while sleeping since it is important for me to track my sleep patterns and heartrate.
I had 2 Fitbit HR trackers where each died after 3 months. The Lithium Ion battery did not last like the Palomar batter on the Blaze is supposed to. The Blaze appears to synch and upgrade better too. Overall, the Blaze is working well for me. Let's see what happens when I hit the 3 month mark! I would recommend the Blaze to friends and family. It is pricey, but will prove to be worth the price if it lasts longer than the Fitbit HR did for me. I do strongly recommend buying the warranty with any of these units as BestBuy replaces the unit if it breaks down.

After cardiac rehab, I wanted to know my heart rate on a continual basis so I purchased the FitBit Blaze watch. I've found it so useful that I'm never without it. My heart rate, number of steps, calories burned, sleep stats - and so much more - is immediately available. Additionally, the text size is easy to read. There's also an online application to sync with the watch to provide weekly totals (very useful). The Blaze watch is well worth the money!

I've had my Fitbit for a year and it's everything I was looking for. I wanted a watch that could track my steps and miles, but also something that had a clock, timer, and stopwatch. The Blaze offers all that, and more. I've been a Fitbit owner in the past, and I preferred their phone app and watch to the Apple Watch and app. The biggest con of owning the blaze is that you can't respond to your text messages from the watch, like you can on the Apple watch, but the pros of owning the blaze is its phone app, its accuracy (always more accurate step count than the Apple Watch), price point, and it's ability to hold a charge for several days at a time. I love it so much, I even bought my boyfriend one so we could challenge each other to competitions through the Fitbit app. I'd definitely recommend if you're looking for a reliable fitness tracker.

I purchased my Blaze the first day it was available. I love the battery life. Lasts much longer than the HR fitbit. I like being able to read my text messages would be nice to be able to respond but having the ability to read the messages is extremely nice.

Good looking like Apple Watch, light weight. Best fit for runners.
Pluses: text, call, alarm notifications
Touch screen. Fitness assistant. Option to track running, exercise, cycling, weight base exercises. Above all no need pay high cost like Apple Watch. Those who want to buy Apple Watch can buy this watch with reasonable price!!
Few observations: it seems the steps is calculated not so accurate(woke up with few steps count!)
GPS is available only when you carry the phone with you.
Heard heart rate is not accurate. But not sure. Please investigate before you buy for that option.

I've updated my fitness tracker to the Fitbit Blaze. Love the enhanced features including heart rate, syncs with my iPhone (get messages and phone call notifications); workouts provided, etc. Looks great and lots of interchangeable bands, if you are fashion conscious!

I love my Fitbit Blaze! The app is easy to use and helps you set goals. I track my calorie intake, water intake and activity. Since purchasing the Fitbit Blaze a month a go I have lost 5 lbs! I tell all of my friends they should get one! My 9 year old loves it too and wants one. I might consider starting him out with a smaller Fitbit like an Alta but for sure will buy another Fitbit.
A:Yes, there is a charging device. You pop the tracker out of the band, put it in the charging device and either plug it into your computers' USB port, or into a wall adapter with a USB connection (not included--I use my iPhone wall adapter).
A:You just go to the Exercise screen and choose run. It will pair with your phone and record your run. It has pace, distance and will map out the route on Google maps. You can see the map on the App on your phone and your pace/time/distance on your watch.
A:No. Your wrist will vibrate when you receive the text message, and when you flip your wrist up to look, the message will slide up from the bottom and show you the message. The only option you have from there is to clear your notifications.
A:You can customize what your screen looks like through the app and the face will change after you sync. There are 3 choices and you can switch if you want to try another one.
A:You don't store/listen to music through the device. If you're playing your music on your phone, you can control it through your Fitbit Blaze (volume up/down, forward a song, back a song).
