Looks good, works great !
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got a Fitbit for my wife and on, an impluse, decided to get one for myself as well. We got the Charge HR. --I have been a runner for over 35 years but thought is would be good to know my hear rate when I''m outside on unfamiliar terrain or traveling. I also liked the idea of keeping more accurate track of my distances when I'm not on a treadmill. --To my pleasant surprise, the Fitbit was very comfortable, easy to take care of and the e-mail alerts, when the battery is low, make it a snap to know when to recharge. Also, being able to see graphics of my workouts was fun. --I really like the trim look and plum color. I wear it more than just when I'm working out. All in all a very useful addition to my workouts which really helps keeping me motivated to work out when my energy flags. When I'm not sure I want to run or not, the idea of seeing a big drop off in my graphics gives me a kick in the pants and I get over the hump and get out there and run.

Love that I can synchronize to Weight Watchers app
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So cool to be able to see my resting heart rate and track my exercises. It also allows me to track sleeping patterns and my water intake which is so vital to losing weight!!! Counts my steps and acts as a stop watch! Best thing is it's an alarm also!! I absolutely LOVE my Fitbit!!!

Steps & Heartrate at a decent price
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've been a Fitbit fan for a good 4 years already. My last fitbit bit the dust after 2 years of use. I decided to go with the Charge HR for the additional heart rate monitoring. Along with activity monitoring, I also use it for the vibrating alarm clock (wakes me up without waking my wife), and the caller ID display. The only drawback is I have to charge it around every 3-4 days instead of the 8-9 days with my old Force. The band is much better on this model. The clip band on the Force kept falling off. Overall, the weight and size is just right and doesn't get in the way of my clothing. It does seem to be a little sensitive to movement for displaying the clock, so I recommend wearing something over it if going to the movies, since it does shine pretty brightly.

Great fitness tracker
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My husband and I both purchased one of these as part of our effort to lose weight and improve our health. Using it along with calorie tracker apps (that coordinate with this very nicely) we have been able to do both over the past 3 months. It is easy to use and provides useful data at the press of a button. Both my husband and I were right on the measurement border for the size that they recommend you purchase, both of us bought the smaller size, and both are glad we did. The one criticism that I have is that the "window" that you see your values through is plastic and therefore scratches. This needs to be made of a higher quality substance that won't scratch.

Great even for beginners
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This fitbit makes you more Concious of your activity. You can challenge friends and compare steps or even have contests. My dad has one too so we constantly try to beat each other. I've noticed doing more just by wearing it because it hold you accountable for how lazy you're being or makes you feel proud because you had a lot of activity. The charts are easy to understand. It's easy to use, easy to set up, and easy to read. Buy it. You won't regret it. I also think it's pretty acurrate. I'm a Nurse and I occasionally check to make sure the heart rate is accurate and its always spot on!! Bonus- fitbit has really awesome customer service. Just keep your receipt. Even if it's out of your best buy geek squad protection, fitbit will help.

Love My Fitbit Charge HR!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I waited for about 6-8 months and read reviews after reviews on almost all of the different brands; Nike, Garmin, and other Fitbit trackers...I finally settled and took a chance with the Charge HR and I am very pleased. Love how I am able to shower with it, but mainly impressed with how it accurately tracks my heart rate, steps I've taken each day, and the amount of sleep including detailed sleep patterns. This little device motivates me to get up every day to hit the gym just so I can achieve my goals! I'm able to compete with my sister in law who also has one and lives in North Carolina (I'm on West Coast)!!!! I've had it pretty much for two months and haven't had any problems at all! Overall, great device!

Can't stop walking!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I didn't know what I was getting into! Purchasing this was the best move I made to keep myself moving. The sync and app work well. I'm a server so I'm already logging some massive miles, but since I've gotten this, I'll grab the dog, go another 4 miles on a walk just so I can get the alert that I've hit my 12000 step goal. Don't worry, you set you're own goals and this tool is a great way to hold yourself accountable. Excellent purchase and I'm glad I got the HR monitor with it because it definitely helps track my peak times.

2nd Fitbit
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is my 2nd Fitbit, I like them. My original Fitbit as great, synced to myfitnesspal and always gave me a very good workout read. Fitbit has gotten so advance it even knows what machine you are using during your cardio workout. I highly recommend adding the extended warranty. My first one came apart when I tried to remove it from the charger, about a year and a half of owing it. Exchanging it was super easy, I didn't have to mail it anywhere or wait weeks just walked into the store the next day with my receipt and walked out with my new Fitbit.

Q: QuestionDo I need a Smartphone to benefit from this tracking device?
Asked by Anonymous.
- A:Answer No, but you would need a computer with Internet access (or a way to install fitbit's software). The HR comes with a USB-Bluetooth adapter and a USB connector to directly connect the device. You can use Fitbit's website and/or software on your computer with virtually the same features as the smartphone app.

Q: QuestionHeart Rate displayDoes the Fitbit device continuously display your actual heart rate, or does it just display which "zone" you your heart rate is in eg. the Peak Zone?
Asked by Emma.
- A:Answer The Charge HR will display your heart rate and the zone. Depending on how you set up your display (mine is set to show heart rate last) will determine where you see it in the rotation. The display does not stay on constantly for anything. You have to tap the top to get what you've set to be your face display (mine is clock), or press the side button to scroll through to see each item.

Q: QuestionDoes it track your spinning or riding a bike (distance, calories, etc?)
Asked by Bridget.
- A:Answer Unfortunately not. The activity tracking primary relies on the movement of your arm. It will, however, track your heart rate while on the bike.

Q: QuestionDo I have to carry my iphone with me?I could not find any info if I have access to the data while I am exercising or if the notification feature would work if my iPhone is at home.
Asked by Ellie.
- A:Answer You don't "have" to carry your phone with you. The Fitbit will hold all the data and it will Sync with your phone or Mac/PC later. However if you like to run and you tell the Fitbit App your running it will track your location, speed and distance more accurately using the Phone gps. The Fitbit can only calculate distance based on the number of steps.

Q: QuestionHow to sync or charge? On Dec. 31, 2015 I purchased a Fitbit Charge HR. That is the ONLY thing in the box that I unceremoniously destroyed in my eagerness to get started. Now I realize there is no way to charge or sync the Fitbit. Any suggestions? Do they all come without the necessary items to charge or sync?
Asked by Anonymous.
- A:Answer You might have received a used or previously opened unit as they do come with a USB charging cable, & a bluetooth dongle included with two very small booklets with some minimal instructions & contact information. In the bottom portion of the display stand which is part of the packaging, you should find that it holds both booklets & the communication dongle along with a 3 or 4 inch long USB charging cable (which plugs into the rear of the FitBit.
