Flight to Nowhere
In this low-budget espionage adventure, an ex-FBI agent is convinced by an active agent to help him find a stolen map showing the location of invaluable uranium deposits located on a remote South Pacific island. Later the two, and a few others, end up in a hotel in Death Valley with the maps. Murder ensues as different people vie to get their hands on the valuable documents. ~ Sandra Brennan, Rovi

Honor Thy Father
Gay Talese's bestseller Honor Thy Father is given a superb, albeit slightly expurgated, treatment in this made-for-TV movie. Joseph Bologna plays Bill Bonanno, the son of New York City Mafia-don Joe "Bananas" Bonanno (Raf Vallone). When his father disappears in 1964, Bill is compelled to take over the "family business." This proves well-nigh impossible as several Mafiosi fall over themselves trying to stake their own claims within the Bonanno empire. Lewis John Carlino, the script writer for the 1968 Mafia flick The Brotherhood, adapted the Talese novel for television. Joseph Campanella "appears" as the slyly noncommittal off-screen narrator. Honor Thy Father was first telecast March 1, 1973. The producers sagaciously withheld the film from the critics until that night to make certain no reviewer would spoil the audience's enjoyment by prematurely cataloging the differences between the film and the book. ~ Hal Erickson, Rovi

Made especially for the USA Network, this action adventure centers on freelance bodyguard and former U.S. Marshal Jack Devlin (Dolph Lundgren and his attempts to protect a young woman from vicious gangsters. Unfortunately, Devlin's ability to do his job is severely restricted after an explosion temporarily blinds him. Suddenly faced with new situations and new fears, Devlin finds his courage tested to its limits as he struggles to protect another innocent mob victim. ~ Sandra Brennan, Rovi

Airborne is a science-fiction fantasy film about the tribulations of a clandestine operation team recruited by the government to steal a deadly virus from a band of terrorists. Led by Commander Bill McNeil, the team confronts the thieves in a daring act of piracy and, after a standoff in mid-air, retrieves the deadly bottle. When two members of the team are subsequently murdered, McNeil suspects that the government might be behind the gruesome act. The team steals the virus back and becomes the subject of a deadly hunt by mysterious mercenaries. Airborne plays like a cross between Mission Impossible and The Rock; Steve Guttenberg, the star of Police Academy and Cocoon, might seem a strange choice as an action hero, but the film in general has entertainment value. ~ Gönül Dönmez-Colin, Rovi

The Cold Equations
In this sci-fi adventure, a specially designed ship carries only enough food and supplies to make a one-way trip into deepest space. The entire mission is jeopardized by the discovery of an unauthorized passenger. ~ Sandra Brennan, Rovi
