The camera is advertised as something you can view over the internet or with a cell phone. This led me to believe that with internet access through a Verizon MiFi (cell phone service), things should be fine. I could not get the camera to work at all, since it did not seem to want to communicate to the internet through a "hotspot" router. Perhaps there is some trick to this, but I called Foscam support and they could not help me through the process. There is something about "port forwarding" that seems to make this not work. It seems that the information about the camera should say that they don't work with this sort of router, or Foscam support should learn how to do the setup with this sort of router.
