I purchased this to augment my video sounds. My current video camera has nice sound but it needed a little more punch! This little machine is so much more capable than I could ever imagine. I literally recorded a video at Christmas and with minimal effort in Audacity it sounded like it was recorded in a studio! Fantastic for the price!

Works great! I use this to plug my xlr microphone cable into and monitor the audio levels. I sync the audio with my video in post-processing.
