This unit looks pretty, but more for those that don’t cook much. The first week of use resulted in a scar that won’t remove. Also, the burners are oddly placed, and there’s no way you can use the largest burner at the same time as the one behind it. Heats quickly for frying pan use, but seems to take water a long time to boil.

Gina, I regret any frustration these matters may have brought to you. Please see pages nine and ten in your Owner’s Manual for ceramic glass cooktop cleaning information. You can try leaving the conditioning cleaning crème on for longer (10-15 minutes), for tough marks. The special cooktop cleaning cream leaves a protective finish on the glass to help prevent scratches and abrasions. After cooktop has cooled, it should immediately be cleaned to prevent any marks from becoming permanent. Please see page eight in your Owner’s Manual for cookware requirements. Select flat-bottomed cookware of a proper size to fit element. Longer boil times may indicate lightweight or warped pans are being used. Use only heavy and medium weight pans because they heat evenly. Make sure the diameter of the pan matches the diameter of the element outline on the cooktop (See Figs. 1 to 4 on page 5 of your manual). I hope this helped! *Ruth
