We recently remodeled our kitchen and decided to get rid of the double oven and replace it with this combo oven. So far we love it! It fit perfectly into our opening. You’ll need 2-3 people to install it though because it’s heavy.

The microwave oven part of our combo wall oven recently failed on us. We will be reselling this house soon, so we really did not want to spend a fortune to replace it. This is a very nice, inexpensive combo wall oven option in a sea of rather expensive combo ovens. The reason for the lower price is because it's actually two completely separate ovens that are simply mounted together. Each oven has its own control panel (rather than sharing a single control panel). We actually had to replace our previous KitchenAid combo oven because the microwave oven failed. With this replacement oven, if the microwave oven were to fail, we could just replace the microwave. Although the regular oven is a Frigidaire (a reputable mid-grade brand), the microwave oven is actually an Electrolux, which is a pretty high end appliance brand. Not that this is a high end microwave, but it just being the Electrolux brand is a bonus. The regular oven preheats very fast and for just being 1100 watts, the microwave cooks very well. I really like that the keypad beep can be turned off on the microwave so that if it's used late night or early morning, it's not going to disturb the whole household. This is actually the first stainless steel finish that really doesn't show fingerprints very well. All of our appliances for years have been stainless steel, and even when they have a brushed finish the still show fingerprints like crazy. This one does not, which is surprising considering that is the lowest end appliance we've ever purchased. About the only negative I have for this appliance is that the exhaust fan for the regular oven is very loud. It's actually louder than the exhaust fan in the hood over our stove, so it's rather obnoxiously loud. It's not a blade interference or bearings type of noise -- it's just simply a loud fan. Another minor negative is that the 3rd-party company Best Buy used to install it for us charged us extra after the installation. They had to cut out the back of the cabinet since this newer oven was slightly deeper (0.25 inches) than the original one. They would've had to do this anyway because the original power connection was at the top of the cabinet and they needed to move it down to the bottom of the cabinet for the new oven combo. After they were done with the installation, one of the guys looked at me funny and then told me that they were going to have to charge me $75 extra for cutting out the back of the cabinet. They did not tell me this (or give me an option) prior to actually doing it, and only told me about the extra charge after the installation was done. Hooking the new oven up to power is a basic part of the installation and should have been included in the original installation fee. The way they did it (acting like it was only because the oven combo was deeper) just seemed like a scam since they would've had to do it anyway to move the power connection. This is the way most contractors in N. Virginia operate, so I really wasn't too surprised by it. If we had this unit installed at our Florida house, I doubt we would've encountered this issue. Overall, I would have to say this a pretty good oven combo for half the price of most out there. If cost really matters to you or if you're not going to be in the house for a long time, this definitely a choice I would make again.

This combination oven and range is being installed in a new build. It has a very modern look and is an extremely heavy product to install. The cut out dimensions in the cabinet are quite rigid to maintain so installation must be done quite carefully. Also, it is very difficult to ascertain the power requires for this unit from the instructions. After contacting Frigidaire, we were able to ascertain that only one power supply is required for both oven and microwave (no separate microwave power source). Overall, the unit is fine value for the price and attractive.
