Quite a Great Stove
|Posted .Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.Features
Quality4 out of 5Value4 out of 5Ease of Use4 out of 5This isn't the prettiest range, however, the temp control is fantastic. After baking a scratch made beef wellington, breads and around 650 Christmas cookies, I haven't found a "hot spot" in the oven. The "L" setting on the cook top is actually low.. my Samsung range would still start to boil on the lowest setting. It heats up quickly and maintains. I'm quite happy thus far. Also, BB got it to me within a couple of days, saving Thanksgiving after the cook top on my stove had cracked.

Induction is great. Air fry is ok.

Quality5 out of 5Value4 out of 5Ease of Use5 out of 5The induction cooks super fast. I use it to impress all my guests. The air fryer takes a while though due to the huge area it needs to heat up first. You may want to keep your small air fryer for quicker cook times.

A good choice
|Posted .Owned for 1 month when reviewed.Features
Quality5 out of 5Value5 out of 5Ease of Use4 out of 5As of now I am quite pleased with this range. Love the induction burners. Only complaint, so far, if I were to have one, is the lack of back lighting on the control surface. Must bend down to read some of the legends, in particular the dark red on black backround.

Pretty good!

Quality4 out of 5Value5 out of 5Ease of Use5 out of 5Pros mentioned:Cooking, Ease of useCons mentioned:ConnectionI like it. For me, it's pretty good. The surface is easily scratched, so you definitely don't want to use any scrubbies, or anything abrasive to clean it. Mine came with sticky junk from the stickers on the top, and I tried to get it off, and ended up lightly scratching the surface. That's obnoxious. Maybe I'll try a headlight polish at some point to see if I can't get the light surface scratches off. I haven't tried the air fry, but from everything I've read, air frying is just convection, only not as crispy, so I don't really care about that. It does have the quick preheat, which is great, and basically just combines convection with traditional baking to heat the internals fast. As for the induction? It's great. Instant heat, quick boiling, easy to clean, but... very hard to clean perfectly. I tried using glass cleaner, and it's still kind of cloudy, so I spend very little time cleaning, and a lot of time trying to buff it streak free. It also sometimes buzzes when you're first heating things up, but I believe that's pretty common with induction. As a techy, this is weird, but I kind of appreciate how simple the controls, and the operation of this thing is. I thought I'd want a million buttons, and smart features, but not really. The only thing I think that would be nice to have is a way to remote heat up the oven by telling Google home to preheat the oven, but that's not worth an extra grand or two. Overall, I can't complain, but I'm not really a huge chef - I am curious why the US doesn't universally use induction, though. Most of Europe does?

Q: QuestionWhat is the electrical requirement for this range? Also on the height issue is the height designed to meet the counter at the oven door and then the cook top be above that, is that the reason for the unusual height?
Asked by Anonymous.
- A:Answer I don’t know why Best Buy is showing that height, if you go to Frigidaire.com look up that model number you see that it’s a little over 35”, You can also get power requirements.

Q: QuestionI see the largest burner is only 8.3" diameter. Does that mean you can't use a 10" or 12" skillet on this cooktop? Or that only the center section of the skillet will heat?
Asked by Kat.
- A:Answer Hi Kat, It is recommended to use pans that fit the cooking zone markings. If the pan is not a perfect fit for the marking, using a larger pan is better than using a smaller pan. ~Corletta

Q: QuestionI've read in the reviews several comments regarding the bottom storage drawer being so flimsy. I know my current Frigidaire stove drawer, plastic slides broke off. Does this unit use metal or plastic for the drawer mounts?
Asked by Chuckles.
- A:Answer Hi Chuckles. The warmer drawer inner glides are not plastic, they are metal. There are no brackets on this design, just glides. Thank you for the inquiry. ~ Anna
