Ok, so I'm a big Chili Pepper fan and "BSSM" is my favorite album by them. When I saw that there was a behind the scene making of the album, I was stoked. So I ordered the DVD and less than a week later, I got the hour long, black and white documentary. It's pretty cool because you get to see what Kiedis had in mind for "Under the Bridge", you get to see Frusciante play his guitar, you get to see Flea plan the riff for "Give It Away", and you get to see Smith play the drums and the piano. What was really cool was that you got to see them record "They're Red Hot" outside. When I listened to the track at first, it sounded like it was in reverse but it isn't. If you watch the "Suck My Kiss" music video, then you get the taste of "Funky Monks." It's basically the best DVD I've got besides the Greatest Hits and Video DVD and the Live at Slane Castle DVD. Definitely 5 stars!
