I would've given it a 5 star but when it indicates to "Add Water", I add water but it won't start to make ice. I have to power down the unit and restart it. Other than that, this ice maker works quick and dispense enough ice in a short time. This is a great addition to the ice maker in our Freezer.

This ice maker is more than I expected. I love the round ice cubes and the ice is easy to chew. I found a medium size crisper with removable basket to put in the freezer. The ice is wet when I transfer from machine to freezer. To solve the issue of the cubes freezing together, I let the ice harden in the crisper and break it up with a new metal meat tenderizer that has a rubber handle. The metal can stay in the freezer. I can fill the crisper in one day. I also like that the machine turns off when I've gray is full of when it needs more water. I use distilled water. Best gift I've ever given myself. Hope the tips helps others. ;-)
