Nice upgrade for the money
||Posted .Upgraded my GT220 to the GT640, and got a lot of bang for the buck. I bought the GT640 at a great sale price. The installation was simple since no extra power supply was needed. 350W power supply is recommended, but works just fine on my system with a 300W PS. Overall, a great bargain.

awesome product
Posted .i was very satisfied with this product, it works like a dream on diablo 3. doesn't require you to buy a new power box. the only problem i had with it, it wouldn't allow me to express install it you gotta choose custom clean install.

Another good low to mid range graphics card
||Posted .Yet another good low to mid range graphics card for its price. Geforce generally sets the standard of being a good card to own. It's versatility given its low end range is actually pretty impressive. It can run certain games that demand high graphics content.

Great upgrade from cpu graphics
||Posted .bought this as a replacement for the cpu graphics in my home brew HTPC. I have been using the built in graphics for a while now, but decided that if I wanted to do some basic gaming I would need a more powerful graphics gpu. The nvidia graphics are really great, the built in HD sound on the card work well for my HTPC. I have been very pleased with this card. Well worth it.

Great card for the price
Posted .Picked up this card about a week ago mainly to run games like dota 2 and diablo 3. Price matched it online for under 70$ so for the price it is very good. Everything is nice and crisp sending the video from my computer via HDMI to a 47" tv. The tv is also 3d and it handles that pretty good as well. It ran the games like dota / league of legends / path of exile and lower type graphics games at mostly max out settings at least 30fps. When I ran more graphic intense stuff like some first person shooters and this hunting game it dipped down to the 20fps rate at max causing me to lower some of the filtering and details. I still kept everything in full 1080p sending to my tv and it still looked very good. Everything looked pretty much at least as good as my xbox 360 if not better. Another great thing about this card is that you don't need to upgrade your power supply. Did a lot of research and this model a long with a couple higher ones like the 750ti run very low power and can be run on power supplies around 260-300watts. I am running a dell inspiron 660 (not the slim) tower, i-3 3.4ghz, 6gb ram and 1tb hd with 300w power supply. I would definitely recommend this card to anyone who wants to spend under 80$ but still wants to run basically everything other than the new high end games like watch dogs, battlefield 4, nba 2k15, etc... I bet it could even run those games in 720p at mid settings. I hate 720p because it looks horrible on a 47" tv, but on a 24" monitor it would look pretty good. If you want better games I would get the gtx 660 (on sale 199$) or 750ti (199$). If you don't wanna replace your power supply go with the 750ti. I am actually returning this to buy the gtx 660 because I already bought a new power supply during all this, but haven't put it in yet. Got addicted to how good steam is for PC being able to use xbox controllers and a gtx 660 actually would look just as good or better than a xbox one and it will have a far larger game selection. The 640 is a superb entry level card definitely better than the 630 / 20 / 10 for almost the same price. Its addicting once you see how good some of these games look to not want a higher end card though.

This card by far is a great deal.
Posted .I have tried alot of gpu's. There are not many that I would actually take the time to type about. This card is very good if not great for the money. The aspect that I like is that it runs very cool which means stability. Will run any game out there on ultra but must have at least a quad. In conclusion cant go wrong

Good entry level card
||Posted .This card is a good value for the average user. I would recommend a better card if you are building a gaming computer.

A great upgrade for older computers
||Posted .In all honesty, I'm really impressed with what this guy can do-- able to basically max out most games (including Skyrim) with few hiccups. It's not top end, but it's well below the top end price of $300 + .
