An excellent card for the price.
||Posted .I was looking to upgrade my 470 video card to something that was cooler and would let me play all the newer games. This card does it in better than I could have hoped for. My computer's internal temperatures dropped by almost 20 degrees which means I could run my games at a higher resolution with all the glorious visuals enabled. BF3 never looked better!

Best Card for the money
||Posted .This is almost identical to the GTX 660 but for less money. I haven't found a game out there yet that this card won't play. If you are looking for a great card for the money this is definitely one to consider. If you are thinking about purchasing the NVIDIA Shield, this card will be compatible as well.

PRICED JUST RIGHT
||Posted .IF YOU GET A NEW VIDEO CARD IT WOULD ESSENTIALLY BE AN UPGRADE. SO, MY GAMING IS MUCH BETTER AND EVEN MY DESKTOP AND APPLICATIONS APPEAR TO BE BETTER. INSTALLATION WAS ( AND SHOULD BE) SIMPLE. I DID THE REVIEWS AND FOUND THE '2G" TO BE A BETTER PRODUCT IN THE PRICE RANGE. IF I COULD GET SAME PRICE FROM ANOTHER MANUFACTURER OTHER THAN GALAXY I WOULD AS THEIR REGISTRATION PROCESS IS TEDIOUS AND DIFFICULT. BEST BUY ONLINE ACTUALLY SOLD THIS FOR LESS THAN THE PRICE IN THE STORE. I HAVE GONE FROM 12 FPS TO AS MUCH AS 98FPS ; AVERAGING 65 FPS. ONE HECK OF A DIFFERENCE.

White Hot!
Posted .I bought this card to replace my GTX 470. Performance-wise these cards looked about the same on paper but the reality is night and day. This card runs cooler which means I can push the settings up higher without worrying about heat build-up. Additionally, the card's shorter length helps improve air circulation inside the computer. With 2Gb of memory vs 1GB of memory this card is much more capable than the 470. Battlefield 3 runs at Ultra settings without missing a beat. It's nice to see what I was missing before.

Watch out for driver issues with Windows 7
Posted .I bought this video card as a replacement for the Radeon card that went bad in my computer. Installation was easy enough and it seemed to work ok for the next 3 weeks. Then I started having problems when I turned the computer on. Do a search on Google/Yahoo for "black screen moveable cursor". I could not get past the initial boot up process unless I went into "safe mode". There are about a dozen "solutions" out there. Each one I followed took me deeper down the rabbit hole. I finally went back the restore point just prior to loading the GTX 650 drivers. I could boot into a regular windows session but in VGA mode only. As soon as I reloaded the GTX 650 drivers, I the problem came back. I finally added a second hard drive and loaded a clean Win 7 on it, deleted the AMD Radeon drivers and then loaded the GTX 650 drivers. After applying all of the Win 7 updates since I created the recovery disks, my computer seems to be stable....for now. If the problem returns, I will go back to a Radeon video card....and I will purchase it from a seller with a little more lenient return policy.
