Customers frequently mention how well the GameCube Controller Adapter works, especially with the new Smash game. Many customers also appreciate the compatibility with select Nintendo consoles and the affordable price point. While some customers wish the cord was longer, the overall consensus is that this adapter works well and is easy to use.
Fantastic and affordable adapter to use with your Nintendo Switch, and even Nintendo Wii U if you still have that. While its supposed to be for smash bros, you can use this adapter for any of your gamecube controllers lying around and use it with ANY game on the switch, unlike on Wii U where it was Smash bros and nothing else. This adapter comes with 4 PORTS, just like the gamecube from before, so up to 4 gamecube controllers can be hooked up at once. Very affordable if you still have your gamecube controllers.

When Super Smash Bros. was released for the Wii U a few years back, Nintendo produced some of these babies to go along with it. The system was the first of their home consoles to not have any GameCube controller ports of its own, so this USB accessory really lit the way for dedicated Smash fans especially, upon its release. The only issue was, in my experience at least, that it was very hard to find past its initial stock. I managed to wrangle a copy, but it was much harder for my friends to nab one since they weren't as "on it" as I was. It's a phenomenal product that keeps a nearly 20 years-long tradition alive - I just hope Nintendo gets more of them out there this time around.

This does exactly what it says it does. It works for the Switch, Wii U, and probably even the Wii Mini (the Wii has its own GC ports built in). You can also connect this to your PC if you want. And yes, this works with Wavebird controllers too. This has 2 USB cables but you only need to connect one of them (the black one). The second one is just used for extra power to provide rumble support. You can leave it disconnected if you don't want rumble, you can connect it to a second USB port on the Switch if you do want rumble, or you can connect it to any active USB power on another device, or on a USB charger, if you do want rumble but don't have enough ports. You can connect two of these adapters to the Switch to get 8 GC controllers connected.
