I read some other reviews on the 520 that stopped me from getting it for a while, but I finally got it and it is great! I've had no problem with it at all, I use it very time I ride, 5 days a week.

I was looking for a small device that would allow some "on the bike analysis", but mainly could collect a lot of data for analysis at home. The 520 is that and more. Things I like: live tracking, custom screens via IQ Store, Strava functionality, right size, good battery, sunlight readable, ability to download custom maps (like local topo etc ...) Things that could be better: I'd like to see a wrist band that it could snap on to for the occasional run.

The Garmin Edge 520 is a magnificent cycling computer that will give you all the information you need customized to different screens. The computer can also be customized for different rides or even bicycles. The live tracking is great if anyone you chose to send the tracking wants to know where you are. I also like the syncing directly to Strava and Garmin connect.
