Great watch for multi sport
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've only used my Garmin watch for my workouts and it's pretty accurate, I will be definitely be getting their heart rate monitor to get an accurate calorie and heart max and heart zone count. So far I'm extremely happy with my Garmin watch.

Quality Watch
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Pro's -Classic style -GPS Tracking is excellent. Golf application is probably the best IMO -Great technical data for running. -I use it mtn biking and have it mounted right on my bars to keep track of distance/pace/Heart rate to know when to push harder etc. -Battery life ~1week tracking 1-2 activities daily (however my backlight doesn't work so that will probably use more) Con's -Doesn't have a soccer application -Watch is large. sits high on the wrist and can be cumbersome in long sleeves. You can gain about 1/16th inch if you buy a watch band that uses the pins. -Does not automatically detect sleep. Have to scroll through a couple selections to get "go to sleep" -Does not auto sync and it can't be set up to do so periodically. -Doesn't pair/sync with Strava -Doesn't have a generic "workout" application for weight lifting or if you want to do your own custom excercises Overall probably the best/most accurate activity tracker out there and you definitely pay for it. However i think i could have gone with the FitBit HR or one of their more adcanced modules and gotten the same basic information I need for my training. They say the chest heart rate monitor is more accurate but it can be obnoxious to always worry about throwing it on for every activity. As a male it can be kind of awkward an you'll definitely catch some slack from your buddies about "wearing a bra".

Quality watch
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This watch is simple to use. The timer function could be a bit easier to start and stop. You have to go through the erase or save menu before you can exit the stop watch which is a bit of a pain but otherwise excellent and durable.

Great watch
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The watch is excellent for highly active excercising people. The only thing I wish is that there was a application for a general type of workout that you can use for weightlifting or other actions

Multi Watch
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.A great watch...got it on sale here at Best Buy...saved $150.00. I've used this for 4 months...no issues at all...this thing does everything I need it to do. I used the tracking and backtrack activities while I hike and ride my ATV...and wow it works great. I plan on using it hunting next month. The watch runs all week on one charge...I bought the sapphire lens....it is worth the extra..the more you use it the easier it is to work it..BUY ONE!!!

Asked by jarhead773.
- A:Answer The fenix 3 HR will offer built in optical heart rate as well as the sapphire lens. There is no need to choose between the two if you are wanting to purchase the fenix 3 HR over the fenix 3. |BB|
