Even though I had read that this unit was large and heavy, I didn’t realize how much until I received the GPS. My previous GPS was Oregon 450 and I loved it but it was hard on my old eyes. I wanted something that was easier to read and the Montana 680 did the trick. It took me about a week to get used to it. I compared using both units and the Montana was more accurate. Loved the large type and screen. Learning curve was easy because a lot of the settings are the same as the Oregon. Having the camera was great but was only an 8 Meg pixel. The pictures are geotagged which I liked to put on Garmin Basecamp. Maybe the best thing is it will hold several million geocaches due to the GPZ format. Still learning some of the new features but truly enjoy this machine.

Does everything it said it will and love the large screen. Data transfers to the Basecamp app worked great and the photo quality is very good. Big and bulky item that does not fit comfortly in a shirt pocket or pants pocket. Overall, love the product and its accuracy.

I use this for graveyard searches. Works great for using data obtained on the internet. Just turn the system on and open Extras and all close by cemeteries will appear. I have used it on several trips and it has maintained complete accuracy. The camera is a plus for recording headstone with coordinates. If you are into Genealogy then this is a very useful tool.
