Customers are delighted by the 24" Front Control Tall Tub Built-In Dishwasher with 3rd Rack's quiet operation and excellent cleaning performance, praising its spacious interior and the added convenience of the third rack. However, some users experienced issues with the product's reliability and longer-than-expected cycle times. The dishwasher's ease of use and attractive price point were also frequently highlighted.
Overall this is a nice dishwasher with some cool features like dedicated water jets for the silverware, a third rack for cooking utensils for things like spatulas, larger silverware, small lids, etc, and bottle jets. However the inside of the dishwasher seems a little cheap. The inside of the door is plastic and not stainless steel like my last dishwasher and the dish racks have a lot of play in them when you pull them out and push them back in. They do not roll smoothly and make a lot of noise when moving them. Just seems very loose. Also the clip that matches the door closed was broken (see attached pic). It still functions but I’m afraid it’s going to break off over time and will no longer hold the door closed. Also Best Buy, you should tell your delivery drivers/helpers to be a little more personable. I greeted them and told them where to go with the dishwasher and neither said a word back. Not even a “Hi”. They both seemed like they hated their job.

Since we are changing all of our appliances over to GE, the dishwasher was the 4th major appliance that was changed out due to the older dishwasher leaking, and in need of replacement. Installation was straight forward after removing the older unit. Since I wasn't sure if all the hose connections would be the same, and since the stainless braided hoses should be replaced every 5 years anyways, I also purchased the installation kit for this unit from Best Buy as well. The main water line into the dishwasher needs a 1/4" flex line to garden hose style adapter. Installation of the power line can be either via a 3 prong cord, or hardwired. We were missing 4 of the self-tapping screws that are used to mount the bracket cabinet brackets to the dishwasher, and the screws to go into the cabinet itself. #8 x 5/8" self tapping screws work very well for replacing the missing screws. If you have a standard 24" wide opening under the cabinet, you won't need the side seals, as these prevent the unit from being installed flush with the top of the counter top. There is additional sound proofing material that comes with this unit, and gets installed under the kick panel in the front. This unit also comes with the drain hose, and a garbage disposal fitting, as well as hose clamps. In addition to being super quiet, a 24" box fan on low speed is louder than this unit when running! There are multiple settings for cleaning cycles, as well as a sanitizing cycle. There is ample room for silverware, and large pans, and even cookie sheets! The top rack has 3 adjustable heights, and also has water jets for super cleaning. We are really pleased with how well this unit functions, and performs.

Our existing dishwasher finally kicked the bucket. We chose this model due to price and features including the top drawer for silverware. Installation was a breeze and have not looked back since. Thanks!
